One issue of Harmony is fine. I find her annoying but very funny. An arc, I don't think I could take that much Harmony! I would like to see Marcie Ross again too. An evil invisible po'd woman would be scary indeed! If she's back as an invisible assassin, which appeared to be what she was being trained for at the end of the episode, and is recruited by the Twilight conspiring government to kill Buffy that would make sense. Otherwise, we've already seen what an evil invisible po'd woman would do. In the episode itself. It would just be a rehash to bring her back the same.

I wonder if Buffy will actually have direct contact with Harmony and will Harmony spill the beans about Spike being alive and LA in hell

An evil invisible po'd woman would be scary indeed! Yeah, Harmony is annoying isn't she. But she was cool in ANGEL season 5 "Not Fade Away". It pretty cool to see what is going on with her since IDW didn't have a First Night story for her. Also, I wonder what happen to Eve. The last time we saw her--Angel told her "it time to go" and she reply "go where". What happen after that?

I wonder if Harmony will mention any of the events from Angel Season 5? Probably not, but it would be kinda cool if she at least makes a comment about something.

I love it when characters make references to the past events they encountered. I believe that it makes the series better and stronger. Like how Smallville brought back Sam Jones III for one episode. Its good to know that some things are not forgotten. You know? Or when in The Long Way Home where Than takes Buffy through past memories, she walks by a rat cage or whatever. Which is a reference to Amy when she was turned into a rat.
Sorry if I'm babbling.

Joss will really need to give us an explanation on how Harmony managed to get out of LA before it was turned into hell, because reading the First Night series on AtF my impression was that everything was turned almost instantly after the alley fight, Connor was still running away from the W&H building and he only escaped from it a few minutes after Harmony did.

The name of this arc is "Harmonic Divergence". Unless the Dark Horse website is wrong in naming each issue in this arc the same thing, lol. www.darkhorse.com/Buffy/Upcoming

According to the Dark Horse website, Issue 23 is called "Predators and Prey"---sounds like it should be a good issue with a title like that

Perhaps this arc won't have a title The One With Five Perspectives That's a Friends reference. Wrong universe, but it seemed fitting

Oh my god! I just got it! The cover art is not only amazing but I just understood about the whole cute puppy thing. First my original thought was Harmony still acts like a little girl (even though she can be really tough and mean) and that the dogs represented the child in her. But then i took a closer look and one of the puppies was a BLOOD SUCKING FIEND! Now I get it. There's too sides to her -- the cute and innocent little girl that has always been inside her, and the demon within that everynow and then needs to come out. I'm sorry that I didn't write anything about the actual issue its just I thought my realisation was brilliant -- that is if no one else figured it out before me -- okay now I'm worried. Tell me what you think...

Buffy season eight takes place after the events of season 7 and during the events of Angel season five. I am guessing that she will be wherever Buffy is at the time and pull some stunt that in the end of the issue will leave her unwelcome to be in Scotland or wherever the issue is going to take place. She could possibly start an epic battle against the slayer crew and the vampires of the world and when she notices that the slayers are winning she decides to skip town (something I love about harmony, especially in "The Real Me".) Anyway, I have another theory for this issue -- just came to me. I was thinking that maybe the whole "Vampires are in" thing is not a spoiler but somewhat of a tagline for the issue. I mean if vampires were told in public and everyone knew about them, it would kill the whole suspense of the show -- vampires are bad; run!!! Or another theory, if everyone knew they would get as far away as possible and it would be another "skip town" thing like the final season of Buffy (on TV). I'm hoping the tagline means that because Harmony is still acting like a Cordette with wearing the right clothes and funny things like that, it means that she's gathering another gang of vampires like in "the real me" and is planning on going after the slayer for one last time. Okay I was going to finish there but I had one last thing to say, in season 5 of Angel when she comes into it, she's good. She's not evil. She admits that she's trying to do the whole good vs evil thing. So maybe something happens in this issue that explains why she wanted to be good. Also, if these story arcs take place after Angel season 5 I'm happy to know that she's still alive. She made the fifth season what it is -- she replaced my favourite character and made me want to watch more and more and more. Cordelia was great in the Angel series (a real bitch in Buffy, but a cool bitch) and when she came back for the 100th episode it was really moving. Tell me what you think about me ideas...

Harmony wasn't trying to be "good". She was not killing humans because a strict "no human blood" policy was enforced, with the threat of a stake through the heart if found in violation of it. Plus, she quite easily switched sides, and betrayed Angel (as he knew she would).

Yeah I know, but throughout the season she's not killing. And she says she's trying to be good when she wakes up with a dead body next to her.

Yeah I know, but throughout the season she's not killing. And she says she's trying to be good when she wakes up with a dead body next to her. Yes, but the argument can be made that what she meant was "I'm good because I'm not killing" and not "I'm not killing because I know that it's bad, and I'm actually trying to be good". Harmony was kinda used as the retro-throwback vampire of the Buffyverse on Angel. In other words, going back to the old notion of "no soul = evil". Spike had kinda clouded that dichotomy a little, and in a season of absolute moral relativity, she was in the end, quite absolutely "evil". Well... maybe in a very inept way. Not necessarily a bad thing, since the two vampires with a soul still needed a foil, albeit a superficial one (and I say this on all imaginable levels).

I agree with both of you. Harmony isn't good, but not killing beacuse of the W&H policy is very, very hard for a vamp. I think Harmony is more stable than everybody thinks...

Buffy season eight takes place after the events of season 7 and during the events of Angel season five. Actually, Buffy Season 8 takes place a year and a half after Season 7. It's post-AtS Season 5.
