They look like they are in a theater, either that or somewhere very grand....and fancy-like. The ceiling looks rather large, and between the two it looks like seats... Just a thought. Although, it may not have anything to do with the issue...

Well... if it's Rome they're headed to... there are probably plenty of theaters/amphitheaters/opera houses to pick from.

I think that Andrew will come out as gay to Buffy on this trip. It's the perfect opportunity, seeing as it's Buffy (the main character) with Andrew himself.

The title of this issue is great!
Does it remind anyone of that Dollhouse episode that has been revealed to have
*SPOILER*
Echo being hunted by a client?
The title "Predators and Prey" could have been the title of that episode!
Can't wait for this issue. I'm a big Drew Z. Greenberg fan, he was great on Dexter (in Season One) and obviously BTVS. I'm thinking this will be a amazing issue. His BTVS episodes always had very interesting titles, "Older and Far Away", "The Killer In Me", "Entropy" (even though I didn't particularly like this episode, the title is great!) and "Empty Places". He sure knows how to name his works well. I'm a bit particular about titling.

I believe the title means:
Buffy's team is prey because they are hunted by humans Buffy's team is predator because they are going to hunt Simone.

Someone mind pointing out when and where we got a title for this one?

When I read the title I thought of Faith's motto; "Want. Take. Have."
I wouldn't be surprised if Simone told Buffy; "We are the predators. They are the prey. The world is ours for the taking."

Oh I love that idea. That way we could have two Slayer fronts: one with Buffy who believes ( for now) that Slayer are supposed to protect humans and another with Simone or someone who believes that Slayers should rule the world ( like Gigi did). It would be kinda like the X-Men, and I am not totally surprised knowing that Joss is a huge x-men fan. BTW I was sooooo right with Slayers being hated after magic got public. Go me

Someone mind pointing out when and where we got a title for this one? Scott Allie confirmed it in an email sent to me, and they also updated it in their 'Buffy Zone' on Dark Horse's webpage. Thanks to me! I asked him about it! Hehe

Thanks to me! I asked him about it! Hehe The modesty in those sentences is astounding. You should've asked him if Doug Petrie is writing the Faith/Giles issue! And just to add, I hope this episode has similar humor to "Him" which was hilarious and also written by Drew Z. Greenberg.

Like said before..I can see Buffy killing Simone but this time not feeling bad about it like she has done about nearly killing someone in the past.

i'm kinda confused... are they doing four straight single issues instead of the four four-part issues?

i'm kinda confused... are they doing four straight single issues instead of the four four-part issues? It'll actually be five issues, each one from the standpoint of a different group of characters. So it's kind of an arc. I usually refer to it as the quasi-arc. The central event will be shared, and it'll just be from the viewpoints of the different characters. At least, that's if I've been hearing right.

I'm very curious to see what they will name this arc, in it's trade paperback. Vampire in Public, or even Vampires in Vogue (which was a rumor) seems a little on the lame side to me. Hopefully Joss comes up with something great!

Maybe they should hold a contest for naming this arc... winning entry gets their name on the credits page. Sounds sweet enough to me. Scott Allie... if you're reading this... *hintgianthammerattackhint*

Amazing covers as usual. Good to see Andrew featured on one. I don't think they fully thought about the TPB for this yet. Differnet names for the issues, differnet characters featured each issue. What will they name the TPB and who will be on the cover. They can't put everyone on it...can they? Harmony, Andrew, Satsu, Kennedy Buffy, Xander, Dawn, Willow, Simone, Giles and Faith. I suppose they could. They could make it look like a promo photo or something where they all just stand behind eachother. Like this: www.starstore.com/acatalog/Buffy-Cast-New.jpg

Nice covers. Both of them. Especially Jo Chen.
