Probably, but we do have covers all the way through #23 now, and #21 isn't even out yet. Not that I'm not uber-curious as to what it'll be like. If nothing else... GILES and FAITH! Together! Again! Cue www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PwpZVlOumcPerhaps the Giles/Faith theme?

I would love to see Giles do that awesome shuffle-to-the-side move.

Cover and solicts! Written by Jim Krueger, penciled by Cliff Richards, inked by Andy Owens, colored by Michelle Madsen, covers by Jo Chen and Georges Jeanty.
Faith. Giles. Let's catch up!
In a one-shot issue, Krueger fleshes out the go-to girl for dirty deeds, Faith, and her new partner, Giles. After her last thankless escapade, where she put a stop to Buffy-hunting Slayer and kindred spirit Lady Gigi, Faith decided that though she's determined to be finished with bloodshed, she's not ready to leave misguided Slayers (like Gigi) with nowhere to turn. Fast-forward to the present . . . bloodshed still abounds, and the Faith-and-Giles team is still finding out what it really means to help those chosen to slay . . .
40 pages, $2.99, in stores on April 1.

I would love to see Giles do that awesome shuffle-to-the-side move. That's the expression anyone who saw Giles doing the 'shuffle-to-the-side move' would make.

Ahh. I'm so excited for this issue. Faith and Giles... Together Again!
The cover is gorgeous! Faith helping Slayers; it does a body good. Well, from the looks of things anyway. She's looking very chesty here, yet sophisticated, with her business jacket.
Giles! I've missed you. He's looking very good too.
The cover looks like it's inside a library. Possibly the new Watchers council?
"Fast-forward to the present . . . bloodshed still abounds, and the Faith-and-Giles team is still finding out what it really means to help those chosen to slay . . ."
Sounds very promising! Faith without bloodshed would be too vanilla.

Omg that is my favorite cover since 8.16, that is definitely by wallpaper for awhile!

Did anyone immediately think Angels and Demons: the scene with the two characters stuck in the Vatican library/archive? Giles looks great, and I personally think that this is Jo's best likeness of Eliza Dushku to date. Excited for the variant soon!

Okay I've got a really weird question - does anyone else think Faith looks asymmetrically endowed in this cover?
I'm excited for the variant too. Plus the covers for 25 will hopefully be released soon-ish. A Xander/Dawn cover will be awesome. Plus how long has it been since Chen drew Xander? Was it #3?

cover looks pretty win. However the pose Faith is doing reminds me of me of some of the poses Buffy and such have done in the other covers:P

They do look kinda lopsided... is there a better way to say it? Oh... "asymmetrically endowed". I think Chen's last Xander cover was #2. #3 was the Willow one.

Oh to heck with it. Discretion be damned. I'll just come out and say it.
The right one (Faith's right) is bigger than the left one. Considering the left one is closer to the viewer by perspective, that makes the right one even *bigger* in disproportionality.
Now this isn't a big deal. The only reason I notice it is because the likenesses are so perfect for this piece that Faith's disproportionate body is glaringly obvious.
Again, Giles looks amazing as does Faith's face.

It's the angle. Faith's left chacha is more or less straight on to the viewer's face, and a simple analogy would be to look at a bullet from the side and head-on. Chachas... tatas... whee! I'm 12 again!

Another fantastic cover. I'm very happy to see Giles on a cover again A Xander/Dawn cover will be awesome. Plus how long has it been since Chen drew Xander? Was it #3? Xander is on Chen's cover for 20. A Xander/Dawn cover would indeed be awesome. It's about time, they've been stuck together like glue for most of the series.

I'm 12 again! With the angle, when you follow the line of her shoulders from her left shoulder back to her right. The line of perspective rises up from front to back. The problem for me is when you go down to her torso, that perspective line gets thrown out the window. It's the opposite, with the line shifting to go down from the front to the back in perspective. And it's not just that she's twisting her body. Nor the head-on perspective. Further down, Faith's hands maintain the original lines of perspective from front (lower) rising to the back (higher). That perspective must be mitigated in order to maintain the illusion of symmetry. It's lost here IMO. And again, this is incredibly nitpicky of me. I just can't stop staring at it (not like that!).

I see what you mean, and I did notice it too. Oh well, Faith's just a regular girl... symmetry is desirable, but usually not the case. Have known a person who was a C on one side, and a D on the other. And you're lying about not staring at it like that. I know you, Em. :heartsatsu:

And okay fine, gay me up. Let's gay! Or not.
