yer the first one is good. It was odd readin the comic its really diffrent to the movie but it still works. I thought The Origin comic was really good, it was similar to the movie in many respects. It made me feel really nostalgic while reading it. The comic made me want to watch the movie again just so I can see the differences.

I got #2! I skipped the comics in it I had already read, and I liked the Spike & Dru ones as well as the last one. Actually, I REALLY liked the last one.

I gotta say this one isn't my favorite. I liked Volume 1 alot but I dunno, the stories in this one seem so off. I thought we'd be getting more season 2 stuff, cause I thought there were alot more comics based in season 2, and I just thought we'd be getting em all. Are we getting all the comics or just kinda the important ones?

"Angels We Have Seen on High" was awesome, I loved the art for that one, and even though I don't think a whole arc of that would be good for season 8, maybe another one shot would be worth it, like a flashback to the high school days or something. Other than that I'd have to say that the second omnibus was rather lackluster. One thing in particular I didn't like was in "A Stake to the Heart" was at the end when Joyce says "I could die right here." as she's laying on the couch where Buffy found her. I believe these issues came out in 2004, well after "The Body" if it was an accident I think it should have been picked up and taken out, if it was on purpose then it's just tasteless.

"A Stake to the Heart" has the best artwork in the first three volumes ( I only say that because I don't yet have 4 or 5). I re-read this arc most often because the art draws me in and the storyline is so poignant to Buffy's story. It's such a big part of why she is the way she is, with her father's absence and her mother's strength to start again. I think this arc has so much meaning when it comes to Buffy's past. And again..the artwork..breath-taking. If I wasn't so tired I'd look up the artist to credit them, but I bet someone reading might know it and post for me haha

Probably the one I liked best in omnibus 2. Cliff Richards did the pencils, Brian Horton did those painted pages and the covers. I find the other omnibusses entertaining as well.

I dunno, I really liked both of them. Kind of wish they were all canon. I have to admit that Vol. 1 was a little bit better than vol. 2 tho. I have the next two vols. but haven't gotten around to reading them yet :/

Well I've only recently started to get into the omnibus volumes and so far I've only read the first two.
Like some other people I thought there would be more season 2 stories, but even though there wasn't a lot of that in this volume it was still a great read and I'll put it on my book shelf with pride.
Really my only issue with this volume was "The Dust Waltz". The story was lame, Giles' niece was a horrible character, and the artist made Willow & Cordelia look the exact same. It definitely ended the volume on a sour note for me, which is a shame because I really did like all the other stories.

I've read V1 and I just finished Ring of Fire in V2. I haven't liked either Spike and Dru story and I really didn't care for them in Ring of Fire either.
"A Stake To The Heart" was a really good arc in V2! I really hated the artwork in "Queen of Hearts"
Did anyone else find it a little strange to skip straight from Buffy moving to Sunnydale and into Season 2? I know thats what season 1 of the show was for but it just seemed a little strange for me. I think a mini issue of Dawns first day at school would of been cool. Kind of like Dawn and Hoopy The Bear.

I really loved A stake to the heart. Did someone else noticed that I part four when the Summers are in the living room in Sunnydale and tired. Joyce is saying "I could die right here." And is lying the same way on the couch she did when she really died.

I find all the omnibuses I have read to be really strange. The connect isnt' there like it is with canon stuff. But on the whole I've enjoyed the tiny details they add to the 'verse (when they aren't contradicted in the canon).
I have 1-5 so far. 2 was ok, as good as the first I thought.
