Soooo I'm reviving this thread. It's been far too long.
Angels vs Demons
Talk about moral greys... Should an angel be cast out when they disobey an order NOT given by God? And can demonic powers be used for good?
At first Castiel annoyed me. Like hard. But after the introduction of his partner Uriel and the eventual double-cross, and his by-passing official orders last week, he's becoming one of my fave's. I love that he has doubt, and rightfully so. Something isn't right in heaven, that's apparent.
Ruby is still helping Sam. I have to wonder what her agenda is, since her demon-ness says she cannot work for good. I love the character, and hope there isn't agenda, but it seems that maybe the direction the series is headed.
Oh Sam. Honestly I didn't care him using demonic powers until "On the Head of a Pin" when he drank Ruby's blood. I mean come on. Obviously the season has been Sam's denial about how wrong working with Ruby is, and it seems Sam is finally facing that reality. Despite that, he was forced to face Lillith without his powers, not choosing to do so, which disappointed me. It made Dean look like the hero, even though they both worked against Lillith.
And what was up with Lillith? I know she was supposed to look hot, but her face was really stretched wide... lots of work done and not too cute. Also the acting was mediocre ha.
And then there was Dean. He seems to be the center of this season. Starting out really strong with that "fresh out of hell" sequence, and supposedly he will save the world from apocalypse all by his lonesome. Huge leap, but maybe Dean will save the world with a yellow crayon speech because Sam will go completely dark side and only Dean can talk him down. Or beat him down, w/e.
What are your thoughts on this season?
