^^ Totally agree. True Blood was amazing tonight. Best episode so far, this season, IMO. I just can't believe Sookie and Bill got together at the ending. T.T' I understand it, but I don't like it. I have a feeling Eric's, "Don't trust Bill." will come back to bite Sookie in the butt. I'm starting to like Tommy more and more. He's kinda cool, I guess. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I think he has potential. The Crystal plot needs a lot of attention next episode. Eric kicked some A S S tonight. (I will miss Talbot though. I really liked him. :/) I wish we had seen some more of the Queen and Tara, though. Oh! I also think Lafayette's mom isn't crazy, or not completely. I have a feeling her warnings will make sense by the end of the season. Jessica was super awesome too. I loved the shot of Hoyt driving right passed her while she fed off of the were. Pretty cleaver. Gosh, tonight was so amazing. Only four more left, until S4! ;o www.cinemablend.com/television/True-Blood-Watch-Night-Of-The-Sun-26217.html^^ Really good review. I agree 100% with it.

I think it was pretty much the last 10 minutes of the episode that made it. It was awesome.

I just read the synopsis(s) for the rest of the season, and it sounds like the rest of the ride is going to be crazzzzzzy. Cannot wait!

The latest episode was also great! I actually adore the fact that they brought Franklin back, just so we could actually see him die. xD I literally almost screamed when he got shot, and exploded. -sigh- Franklin was so cool. Oh well, I'm having bad luck this season. First Lorena went, then Talbot, and now Franklin. Please, leave Sophie-Anne alone! I beg! lol I thought the new Hadley plot was interesting. I think she and/or her son will play a larger role next season, or somewhere in the future. I didn't expect this at all. Jason's new chick is pissing me off. I understand her, somewhat, but she's just irritating. T.T' Ahem. Sookie's nature will finally be revealed next episode! I'm interested in that Holly girl too. She's acting like the next Maryann. xD I wonder what Arlene will do about her baby... Hmm. And Sam! o.o He finally snapped. Everyone has been pushing him around, and he got to take it all out on someone. Looks like he goes even darker in the next episode too. -Gasp- The Jessica and Hoyt plot is getting old. It's been boring, and it needs to move along already. The Jason plot seems to be all over the place this season. It just feels like it can't decide on what it wants to focus on. Q: What was with Andy? He pulled out V, or something from his desk? Did I catch that right? OH. And the ending. Dear GOD the ending. First of all, I LOVE how Nan is feeding off of a human, just after she's finished lecturing Eric about that. "Only Tru Blood, of course!" And then the TV... And Russell's awsomeness! Wow. He was great, and freaky. The ending line was hilarious too. xD This was a great episode. Cannot WAIT for the next three.

I knew Franklin was alive when he did not explode after Tara bashed his head in, but I thought he should have been brought back for a longer period of time. He was my favorite character this season, and I get that he was evil, but he was just so awesomely crazy.
Anyways, I really loved the part at the end with the spine ripping, and the intro into the weather report. <3

Another brilliant episode. These last two have been some of the series' best. Tonight's episode was tense from start to finish!

The ending with Russell was pure brilliance. It was so brutal, sickness and humorous at the same time. He came out of nowhere at the best or worst time possible is up for debate. I can't wait for Eric to get his revenge cause I know with Russell it's going to be so exciting. I was happy when Sam for stood up for himself. I'm ready for Jason to just drop Crystal already as she is just becoming a nuisance. I was starting to dread scenes with Jason because of her, but when he came to Tara's aid I was applauding. I'm going to miss Franklin craziness. Poor Pam can never be without her Eric.
Now time for the weather. Tiffany? LMAO!

A lot of the scenes in last night episode was pretty intense. One in particular with Tara and Jason. I loved the scene where Jason kicked Bill out. You can tell he had enough with being bullied by vampires. I was so glad Crystal was revealed towards the end cause at the beginning of the episode I had pretty much given up on her and was getting really annoyed with her. Russell killed Michael Steger from 90210. I absolutely loved all of the scenes with Eric and Sookie. Sookie: OK, I get it. I’m irresistible and intoxicating! Best line of the night. Edit - I forgot about Sam's dark side. Even more intense.

Wow. The newest episode was amazing. I was blooooooown away. I was SO HAPPY that Tara/Jason FINALLY got attention again! It's been how long now?; Around two seasons? Dang. And now it's probably over for good. That scene with them was soooo great though. I was egging them on the whole time. Haha. The Sookie/Eric kiss was so great. I ship them for sure now. His whole 'I can't die happy without having ever kissed you' line was so... Sqee worthy? Sorry, but it WAS. Even I got a bit fanboy-y there. Jessica/Hoyt story has FINALLY moved forward. Thank GOD. I laughed SO HARD at Hoyt pwning Tommy. I love Tommy, but it was pure funny. I was kinda over Jessica/Hoyt, but now I'm looking forward to them again. The Russell scenes were so deep. They were acted amazingly. And they were emotional; Gosh, I felt so bad for Russell! Sure, he killed an innocent, but it was... An emotional kill? Haha. And Talbot! <3 Yay. Yeah, he's dead and gone, but we saw him again! Sam's flashbacks were intense. But I wasn't completely interested in them. Sure, it adds more to Sam a a character, but it seemed kinda forced out, IMO. I think I know where this is going, but I could be wrong... I think Eric will go up against Russell. Duh. But he'll be easily stacked. We'll be shocked when he suddenly regenerates. Then cut to a flashback of him feeding off of Sookie! I think it'd be pretty cool if they play it right... Or they aren't going to do it at all. xD Just my mind trying to be as awesome as True Blood, I guess.

The newest one was pretty good. I didn't like it as much as the others, but it was decent. Set up the finale great. <3 Eric. And Pam. She totally pwned Bill. Hahaha! Sam/Tara = No. I'm still hanging out for Jason/Tara, if it'll happen. Maxine finally returns! xD She's so hilarious. I doubt Eric will die. :/ I'm not sure if Russell will, though. Probably. I don't think he does in the books... And it looks like Sophie-Anne is in the next one! Woot. Love her so much. I'm curious about what's in Sam's volt... I couldn't believe it flashed back to that scene. Maybe it'll be important. The clip before this episode was good too. Amy<3333. I miss her.

I really enjoyed the Eric and Pam bits in this last episode. I can't wait to see what happens next with the whole sunlight thing. The only plot line that I have been really interested in this season has been the Sookie/Bill/Eric/Russell plotline. I really hope something interesting comes of the other ones in this last part. Well I guess I also liked the Tara/Franklin part, but he died . I liked the one Jessica scene, her and Hoyt are still so cute together. I really have not been a fan of the Sam plotline this season, but he kind of snapped in this episode and that was fun to watch. I kind of like Sam and Tara together anyways even though I would also prefer Tara to be with Jason. Crystal seems like she could be an interesting character but she has been annoying me lately. I wonder if Hoyts mom is going to do something in the last episode... maybe next season if not? Overall I really enjoyed this episode, another awesome cliffhanger ending.

Sorry gang, it's ranting time:
The fact that all three seasons of True Blood has happened in like three weeks is really starting to get to me. Before it never really irked me for some reason, but in these last couple episodes every time Jason/Crystal or LaFayette/Jesus start saying how much they love/like each other it annoys me to no end. For whatever reason I could look past it before, but now it's like "YOU LITERALLY MET LIKE THREE DAYS AGO. SERIOUSLY?!"
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the show, but I don't know, the writers really need to work on the whole time/realism aspect of the show. I can't even begin to like either Jesus or Crystal because I find them more creepy then cute or whatever. I mean Jesus hung out a diner/bar for a whole freaking day to talk to someone that he had met and talked to for what, 10-15 minutes? All I can think about is how creepy that is. I can't get past it. He waited around for an entire day! Stalker.
And then Crystal after talking to Jason for like 20 minutes is about to have sex with him in a forest and it's supposed to be romantic? The florid language they attached about how all they had was right then still just made it kinda, blech, or something to me.
And what was the purpose of Franklin other than another way to screw Tara over emotionally? He served little to no purpose in the overall plot. I'm bothered they killed him so quickly when he had such grand buildup.
Also V is annoying the crap out of me. A little drop of it sends Lafayette and Jesus into a crazy hallucination (which by the way, at least in my opinion, were some of the worst scenes in like television history, they were so painful to watch) yet Sookie and Tara can drink tons of it (from Bill and Franklin respectively) and just heal up/get a power boost? Jason takes more than Lafayette but way less than Sookie and somehow ends up with swollen genitals to the point of a hospital visit. Like seriously, explain.
The show right now is just annoying me so much. Like I enjoy it and whatever, but man it has problems that really need to be fixed. Mostly the timeline aspect to it.

The time started getting to me this season as well. Especially with the Arlene pregnancy, I thought, "No way only that much time has passed since the first season."
I kind of agree with you on the V thing too. I can see if affecting injured people differently but they usually drink way more than enough to heal thir wounds.
Karma because I agree with you.

The show right now is just annoying me so much. Like I enjoy it and whatever, but man it has problems that really need to be fixed. Mostly the timeline aspect to it. Well, I'm pretty sure there was a two week break in the Season Two finale. After they defeated Maryann to when Bill proposes to Sookie. It's not much, but it's better than no break, IMO. The Jesus thing is unrealistic, but I think it's supposed to be. I mean, he just took Lala on a freaky, witch hallucination and turned into some demon. I think it's safe to say he has something to hide. My guess is that he is with Lafayette, because of Lala's 'power', or 'energy'. I think he's not as innocent as we all imagine. As for the Crystal thing... Well, it's Jason, com'on. He thought she was hot, and went for it. She wants him, because he's different from her. I thought it was very sudden at first, but after thinking about it, I'm warming up. I still don't like her that much though. What was the point of Franklin? For us to see his amazingness. And the V thing... I think Sookie is affected differently in some ways, because of her fairy blood. And Lafayette was taken on that weird mental journey, because of Jesus, it's safe to say. I don't think Tara drank much from Franklin, did she? She bit him, for sure, though. On a side note...

O.O
This finale... Woh. It wasn't what I expected, but I loved it.
SOOOO many cliffhangers. Too many. T.T'
My overall thoughts: - LOVED how Tara's arc was handled in the end. All of her scenes in this episode were amazingly acted, and written. After everything Tara went through, this might really be the only way for her to move on. D: Amazing. - HATED how Jason's arc ended. It wasn't all that good at all this season, really. Crystal left, that's one good thing. And, remind me, how did that lame football subplot fit into all of this? I was disappointed with Jason's arc this season. And it ended just as badly. It felt so cheesy: Crystal leaving, and Jason's "I'll find you." Line. Lame. Sorry, but can we please move on from this horrid plot. Take a tip from Tara, and move on. - Terry. Aw. I love him. He was so lovable this episode. His little crying scene was so great. Really, how can you not like Terry? - Russell didn't die! WOOT. He was great this episode. I loved him trying to bargain with Sookie. "And 1 million$." "5 million$!" "2$" "7$!" "... 5$." His expressions were hilarious. O'Hare is an amazing actor. Sookie really managed to piss him off with the dumping Talbot's remains down a drain, and she liked it. Russell will be so fucking pissed when he escapes his prison. Mwahahaha! - Sookie was great this episode too. I love her so much right now. She's done with Bill. Finally. She freakin' means it too. Her finding out about Bill's true intentions was so well done. When she ran out of the house to visit Gran's grave, I thought she was running off to Bill, and I lost it. Thank GOD she didn't. Phew. Looks like Claudine is more than just in her head; She's taken Sookie to someplace else, and I'm so excited. - Sophie-Anne. Gotta love the girl. I wanted to see so much more of her this episode, but it didn't happen. Oh well, here's hoping to more next season? Maybe she'll murder Bill? I'll settle for just beating the hell outta him. Also, I'd love to see her reaction to Hadley missing. Please, Alan Ball, don't kill off the Queen! I need her! - Tommy has been hit or miss for me all season. But tonight I loved him. I went from, "Shoot that little fucker, Sam!" To, "Aww. Sam, no. Leave poor Tommy alone." The acting from Tommy's actor was outstanding, IMO. His, "I can't even read..." Was heartbreaking. The scene from last episode makes sense, when Tommy didn't want to use the notepad to take orders; He can't write! We all thought he was just being a little shit, but we were wrong! </3 Sam, if you shoot him, I will be angry. Don't kill Tommy. - Hoyt was great tonight. Just as many others, he had some amazing moments. Him facing his mom was soooo awesome. And his sendoff to Summer was sweet. He bought a house, and he and Jessica are happy. That's so sweet! Let's hope Maxine isn't planning on using that gun soon. - Lafayette has an interesting arc coming up. (; I cannot WAIT. My guess is that he's psychic, like his mother? And he has the potential to be magical, or something. Jesus is here, though, to show him the way... What a coincidence! Jesus is so evil. I can feel it in my bones. I think he and Holly are involved in some serious shit that's about to go down. - I was happy to see Godric again, but I think it was a bit cheesy. It wasn't too bad, though. Just a bit. I think it's major character development that Eric denied his request. I loved that part, even if it came from something a bit cheesy. - Bill actually was cool. He almost took out Eric, tried to take out Pam, and is currently going after his Queen. Damn. You go! Just.. You know, don't kill any of them. Because they're three of my favorites, Bill. Dang, even when you're cool, you piss me off. I think he's more interesting than ever. But, really, don't kill my Queen. /: I'll be mad.
SO. This was easily the best season so far. Season 3, Season 1, Season 2.
What do I want to see next season?: - Holly, Jesus, and other witches infest Bon Temps. They want Lafayette for they clan, or something. - Their needs to be more development on the Vampire War. All of this tension is rising, and Newlin wants to start a war. People just saw vampires murder on television. How much longer can this war be put off?! - Bring Sarah Newlin back. I think she has so much potential now. And I love Anna Camp! - Explain more about Sookie and her abilities. - Sophie-Anne needs to NOT die. - Bring Russell back later on in the season, but the next season(s).

Didn't really like anything about the finale, or season overall. I don't know what happened to Anna Paquin but dear god was she awful. Kind of surprising since I liked her the first two seasons. Everything was just too disjointed, everyone doing their own thing. Serious moments just came across comical. Ugh I don't know, find it hard to care at this point. The only two good things I got out of the finale were Eric owning Bill and of course, Pam.

So I thought that this season was pretty hit or miss with all of it's plot lines. I really enjoyed Sookie, Bill, Eric, Pam, Russell, Jessica/Hoyt, The Queen, Tara, Franklin, Terry, and Arlene. However, I did not at all enjoy watching Sam and his family, or Jason and Crystal. Lafayette and Jesus were okay this season, but I was a little disappointed because Lafayette is usually my favorite character, and he did not amuse me as much this season as he has in the past.
As for the finale, I really enjoyed the Terry part, and the fact that Eric and Pam were alright at the end.
I continued to dislike Sam in this episode, and I actually felt a little bad for Tommy when he admitted to not being able to read. I still dislike Tommy's character though.
I'm really curious as to what's going to happen with Tara.
I wish they had shown how Eric escaped from the cement, or anything that happened to Pam after Bill called to have her killed.
I was glad when Sookie told Bill off and made him leave her house.
JESSICA AND HOYT! That moment of caps lock was used to denote my fangirl-ish sqee-ing over them getting a house together. I loved Hoyts intervention, that was funny.
I really hated how the Jason plot line ended. Mostly because I do not care about any of those people, and after doing all of that for Crystal, she was taken away at gunpoint anyways.
I was not a fan of Eric seeing Godric and not killing Russell because of it. Russell deserved everything he got.
Sookie and Talbot was hilarious.
I liked that Alcide came back as well, I really wish that he would get with Sookie, seeing as how he is not a crazy vampire who constantly lies to her. He's actually a nice guy. But then again, Eric was really good to Sookie at the end when he came out and told her the truth about Bill.
I am curious to see what happens with Claudine, and also what happens to Lafayette, because although I was not a fan of his arc this season, it seems promising next season.
Also I was mad that even in the last episode of the season, the plots still did not tie together. I miss season 1 when people would actually TALK TO EACH OTHER. Seriously, did Sookie talk to Sam at all this season? Maybe in the first episode... I think... but after that no. I really hope that next season there will be more intertwining of the plot lines. Overall I thought this season was ok.

I am trying to remember if Vamps in the True Bloodverse have reflections. Anyone remember? I noticed Bill's reflection in the mirror in the finale and starting thinking about if that was an error or not.

Sophie Anne was checking herself out in the mirror at Bill's house, so I'm guessing they have no issues with mirrors.
Overall, I enjoyed this season but it sure had its up and down.
The Good: - Russell Edgington. Denis O'Hare was phenomenal, and stole every scene he was in. We'll definitely see his name on the Emmy ballot next year.
- Other new characters, like Franklin, were welcome additions.
- "Night on the Sun" and "Everything is Broken" were probably the two best episodes of the series. They definitely kept the last half of the season from getting stale, when the plot slowed down.
- Bill Compton. Best character on the show? This season made Bill 100% more interesting. Now that the season's, over, I can safely say he's my new favorite character.
The Bad: - Complete misuse of established characters. Tara moaning about a character nobody cared about, Sam being taken away from the cast for so long, Jason falling in love in one day. None of these storyline proved to be that interesting. And these three are practically main characters. Hopefully they will have good material in Season 4.
- Werewolves just disappeared. They were fun and we barely saw them again after the 8th episode. Alcide is too much of a Marty Stu, as well. Give the guy some flaws, if he returns next year.
- Funnily enough "I Smell a Rat" and "Fresh Blood" were extremely weak episodes, the former probably being the worst of the series.
I think, in the end, the good outweighs the bad this season. I'm excited to see how the Bon Temps witch invasion will play out. It'd be nice if the show introduced some mystery again, like in Season 1.
