www.variety.com/VR1117979910.htmlWoot! I really hope that it is from the point of view of the Army so that we can maybe get some of the juicy details! In Cloverfield, when the friends meet up with the soldiers, there is a soldier seen in the background with a video camera. Also, on the bridge scene, there is a guy filming the friends as they walk by them. I can totally see wither of these points being the beginning of a sequel!

The film was fricking awesome!! I felt well odd after though it took a while for my eyes to re-adjust to everything. I was just expecting everything to be shaky when i got out. I like how it never told you that much about anything really. I likest. I'm unsure to if i would like them to be a second one. I don't see how you could top that really. And it would more then likely no be a hand hold camera effect since i don't know how they could work another carma into it really. I liked the end part where it flicks back to there original video where shes all "And i had a great day" Them little monsters where well freaky. They just came from no where.

I am on the fence about a second one. I really loved that you didn't know everything and that there was no white lab coat guy coming in and explaining everything. But then I had to go and read up on it all. All the websites, the viral promotions, etc. now I have a 17 pg document that I typed out explaining everything. So that whole, whoa! what the heck is it? effect is gone. It was cool to know all this info. but did take away from the movie's effect a little. So a sequel could do one of 2 things. 1) explain everything I already have typed out. or 2) keep us guessing...which i don;t know if it will work, b/c i have all this information. but really.....I want another one!!!! I want to go see it again now that I know all this stuff....maybe it hasn't lost it's magic.

Saw this film the other day. Wasn't bad. Definately worth seeing.
I Am Legend was better overall but the ending of this was better. Both really good compared to the norm in this sorta blockbuster genre.
Won't see a sequel to this film of course because it'd be bullshit haha. Most of the things I liked about Cloverfield would be diminished from the get-go I'm sure.

[glow=red,2,300]spoiler heavy[/glow]PS: Mark my words....this movie will some how play int Lost before the series ends...maybe the last episode? Something will Carry through. I am sure of it. It is far too big a coincidence that the creator and writer of lost were involved in this movie and the mysterious beast sounds EXACTLY like the mysterious beast on Lost. Maybe it is the same as something living in the joungle...perhaps the creature that ate the pilot in the first episode... Same m.o. and the same odd noise... created by the same people....... Mark my words I have a sneaky feeling also... Thats a screencap from the beginning of the film. Look at the logo in the corner...., it'll be familar to any fan of lost. It's the Dharma logo. Also in a lost online game www.find815.com there are flashes of cloverfield during the game.
