I loved what Helen Mirren was wearing. She looked so beautiful. She just gets better looking with age. I hope I am like that.
I thought all the women looked stunning... however I was disappointed with Cate Blanchett's dress. She usually looks drop dead gorgeous but the dress material looks like a wet suit and that grey/silver does nothing for her peaches and cream complexion.
I am sure it is all over the "news" today but did anyone else notice the "bump" under Naomi Watts's dress? Me thinks she may be having a baby....

Gwen, I definitely noticed the bump and mentioned it in the worst dress section I think.
Hate to say it but, not liking the SMG dress. I like the hair, shoes, bracelets.. but those shapeless baby doll dresses do nothing for her IMO. They look overwhelming on her small frame.

I have to disagree about the SMG dress. I LOVE this silhouette! It is very now and trendy but it is also pretty classic. This style dress keeps coming back with a vengeance!
Although I LOVE the dress, I always wonder if actresses are not trying to hide something under all those flounces?
Could she be taking a page out of Naomi Wat's fashion book?

BuffyFanOne just thinks she looks good because she played Buffy! LOL. I will admit a bias but I really do like the dress. I love that style dress. I just finished making a dress of this style for a magazine I was asked to appear in but now I am hesitant to post pictures of it seeing as everyone hates Sarah's! |

I think Helen Mirren was the best dressed. She looks classy but still has a lot of style. I'm glad she's not trying to dress too young like some other older stars try to do sometimes.
Is it me though, or does Jodie Foster's face look really messed up at the moment?

 Buffyfanone is right that this is very trendy. Babydoll is the big look right now. I'm not much of a fan of them. Some of them look better than others, but I agree that this one is shaped more like a sack. SMG is so gorgeous. I think she could do so much better with something that makes themost of her fabulous shape.. However, she's a fashionista. People who are very fashion forward and into the latest trends will like this more than those of us who favor classic lines. It's been fun to hear some of the stars comments about why they chose a particular dress. For instance, I thought Jessica Biel's dress was not a good choice for her, but she said she picked it because she liked the color, it was comfortable and she thought it was chic. I could see where she was coming from, but with her figure and hair, I like her to go for sexy and not minimize her curves and sex appeal. Her last red carpet dress was such a goddess dress. |

This one does look like a potato sack...nothing against the style dress. I think this particular dress is just...lacking something. Maybe it's the color, and the way it just...has no shape, like its just lying there, sad at itself...

Intresting tid bit....
Apparently, there was a big to-do at the Vanity Fair party because Sarah could not be found when Will Smith was looking for her. His son Jaden is a huge Buffy fan and was verry excited when he heard that Sarah was at the party. Will tried to arange a meeting but Sarah was no where to be found.
She eventually surfaced and had a meetign with Jayden that was filmed for a segment on the show Extra.
So keep an eye out for that.
