Nice to see another Jurassic Park lover! It's been my favorite movie ever since I saw it when I was 6 years old. The book (by Michael Crichton) also happens to be my favorite book as well.

It's been one of my favorite movies since I was young too. I've seen it about a billion times (and have it pretty much memorized) but I still don't seem to get sick of it! lol. I haven't had the chance to read the book yet, but I really want to soon. I also like the other 2 Jurassic Park movies too, but they're not as good as the first one. The Lost World is almost as good, but the 3rd one isn't. I just read tonight that they are making a 4th one, due out next year. Very exciting I just hope it's better than the 3rd. I was holding out hope for a long time that there would be a 4th, but I wasn't expecting them to ever make another. -Jess

Yeah I am a big fan of all three (more so The Lost World over Jurassic Park 3). But yeah, Jurassic Park has always been just about the only movie I could watch all the time (I think there was a period when I was 8 or 9 that I watched it every week for a long while). If it's a rainy day and I want to watch a movie, Jurassic Park (or Buffy/Angel) is usually what I pop in.
Jurassic Park 4 has been in development for a long time now, but supposedly it has just taken a long time to get going because Spielberg really wanted the script to be perfect (he's said in the past that his plan for the film should be just as good as the first one).I think it is still in a state of "development hell" but I am optimistic that we will see it in 2009 or 2010.

I have to admit I think Jurassic Park is my most loved "bad" series lol. The first one is alright, but the second is patchy, and 3 is pointless. I really love the premise and there's a nostalgic kid thing to me about them too. I find it funny how the dinosaurs seems to get more unrealistic as the films progress, despite improving technology. They're almost primary colours in 3. I heard a rumoured plot for the fourth that in short sounded laughable. Three words.... Dinosaurs With Guns. God I hope 4 is good haha.

Yeah that idea for #4 was a fake script that someone started circulating, it wasn't anything resembling real though.
