I know that there was a small run of Firefly/Serenity comics before the Serenity movie came out. Is this available in one big collection?

I think that there is a graphic novel with all of the stories, check www.tfaw.com and www.tvmerch.com , they should have some of the comics and possibly the graphic novel.

Yes the graphic novel is called Those Left Behind. Its definitely worth a read. There should be another wave of Serenity comics coming out this summer I believe...

The graphic novel is smaller than usual ones...like the Star Wars Rogue Squadron Omnibus and upcomming Buffy Omni...also when Joss has a moment they are doing another Firefly mini this one will take place before Serenity (i.e. Wash will be in it!)

Both those left behind ,and better days (the two miniseries) have a TPB but you have to buy them separately. I can’t wait for a shepherd’s tale

I adore the Serenity comics. They are just like Firefly episodes. So much fun/witty dialogue abnd great stories!

Don't forget the short MDHP Serenity piece too! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, click here to be forwarded there. I think this will be collected in one of the MDHP Anthologies.

I read Better Days for the first time last week, and it was really good, but I just don't understand the Simon and Inara thing. What the hell was that?!

Ugh, I hate that. Skimmed through it again immediately after finishing it, trying to put the pieces together, but you're right, no resolution. Kind of weird to leave such a major plot point open when they aren't any more plans for another mini-series focused on the crew.

I read Better Days for the first time last week, and it was really good, but I just don't understand the Simon and Inara thing. What the hell was that?! That my friend, is called one helluva bloody cliffhanger... I don't remember it actually being resolved. Sorry to bring up this topic, but I was able to read Better Days only last night. I think that the Simon and Inara thing is connected to the reason behind Inara's departure at the end of the first season. I remember I saw a video on youtube were Morena Baccarin revealed Inara's secret: Inara went away becouse she was going to die. At the end of Better Days Inara sais to Mal: "Simon is my friend. He's also a doctor". In my opinion, Inara was going to feel bad and she decided to ask Simon for help. Maybe Simon discovered what was wrong with Inara and then she decided to leave Serenity. So I think that Better Days is placed between "Jaynestown" and "Heart of Gold".
