Went to Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin last month. The boy really wanted to see This Will Destroy You... they were pretty good. Good show for scene kid sightings... the entire event was a giant scene kid fest.

Going to see Placebo tonight at o2 in London!
SO EXCITED!!
Also bought tickets last week to see HIM valentines day also in London next year, apparently its a really intimate gig venue and there were only really limited tickets but I managed to get my hands on one, £30 for the album and t shirt (which doubles as the ticket). Bargain.

haha evilww, I was in O2 last night to see Placebo. Sandwiched between the two pink performances.
ABSOLUTELY amazing.
Really gutted Im still at uni next week and cant go back home to Cardiff as Kill It Kid and Paramore are both performing next week and I wanna go to both!!
But while Im still on my gig-high Im tempted to buy 30 seconds to mars tickets for CIA in cardiff next Feb'.
Also...random note...evilww...did you go on the ghost train in the O2? Shockingly rubbish. lol. However the Natwest money giving bus was definitely the best kind of bus ever.

I'm going to see Mika on Feb 13th in Belfast. Bot a huge fan, really only going to accompany a friend. Hoping to see Black Eyed Peas soon and Cheryl Cole is their supporting act so two for the price of one EDIT: Just back from Mika. It was AMAZING. Got really close to the stage, he really was note perfect and the show was amazing. Highly recomended, even if not a huge fan.

I think I am, but I haven't had my tickets through yet, which is concerning me. Are you sure they are getting delivered? Usually I have to collect mine before the concert at the box office.

Yeah they emailed me now saying they will be delivered next day delivery and to be signed for friday or saturday... the days I'm not there... so my housemates will hopefully get them, otherwise I won't be able to go. I'm sure they will get them for you, but if they don't I think they will leave them at a sorting office and you can pick them up and sign

Hopefully!! Driving back saturday (3 hour drive), most post offices do half days on saturdays. So might be a race against the clock. I can picture it now. Dramatic music building tension in the background along with the sound of a very loud clock ticking. Ray speeding through the streets being chased by the cops for driving too fast, taking every shortcut in sight That would be so cool

I didn't attend many concerts in my life. Bob Dylan 20 years ago. That was awsome. P.J. Harvey and Portishead 12 years ago. It's amazing how such a small person like P. J. Harvey can have such a gignormous voice. Diana Krall, that was one of the most touching experiences; and Marisa Monte, an incredibly wonderful Brasilian singer. Finally, and twice, Heather Nova: simply divine. Biggest disappointment: a Paul Simon concert. I've been a Paul Simon fan for all of my life and could hardly believe my luck when a concert in my vicinity was announced. And then it was cancelled because of bad weather. I was so sad, it took me weeks to recover ... ohwell

I haven't been to a concert since I was about 14, and then I saw Take That! I would love to go to more, I just never get round to organising anything. I would love to see Girls Aloud, Madonna or Britney (yes, I am still 14 inside ). My bf went to Sonisphere last year with my best friend and saw Metallica and Nine Inch Nails, two of his favourite bands. He also saw NIN live in concert last year too.

I really want to see Goldfrapp live, although they are not coming near Ireland anytime soon I am already putting money together to see Evanescence on their next tour. Ofcourse no dates have been released yet. I talked it over with my parents and they said that if I have the money, which I will, and if I havea friend to go with, which I do, then I can travel to London or Manchester to see them. So YAY! Although I hope my parents will arrange the travel and accomadation for me because I havn't got a clue about that stuff
