It's gotta be Cordy or Fred who hangs in the balance. And since Illyria was going mad in issue #4 I'm gonna guess Fred is trying to push her way back through. Although that would be strange because her soul was supposed to be destroyed. I'd love to see Cordy again. Although, I agree that her entrance has to top her exit to make it work.

It's Fred they're speaking about in the blurb, as issue 5 reveals. I, too, hope this doesn't mean the end for Illyria though. Illyria is a fascinating character herself, and I'd hate to see her go, as much as I love Fred. Maybe they can work out some sort of timeshare, hehe.

Cordy isn't a higher power. The whole thing was a manipulation so Jasmine, the actual higher power, could take over her body. After she gave birth to Jasmine and up until her death, Cordy was nothing but a regular human. But I thought she became part demon so she wouldnt die from the visions? -Ben

It definatly Fred's life who "hangs in the balance", because in Issue #5 she pops up at the end.

Fred is the girl in the blub, though I am torn between Fred and Illyria... I'd probably take Fred though she would probably end up drifting into the background as she isn't much use in HelLA =( Maybe Fred could take control of Illyria and her powers? I'd hate that though, the best thing about Illyria is the fact she is fitting into this new world where she is completely insignificant compared to what she was.

Ah, you're forgetting that we only ever heard that her "soul was destroyed" from a W&H doctor...I agree, a timeshare might be okay. I miss Fred--I cried when she died, but Illyria is wayyyyy too interesting to just toss aside!

I think it is Cordy - and I wouldn't put it past Wolfram & Hart to put Angel in a situation where he has to choose between saving Cordy or saving everyone else.

Its embarrassing to say this but every time I watch Shells, I ball my eyes out rather then getting teary eyed at the end of A Hole In The World. Every time Kim Richey's A Place Called Home comes on and you realize Fred is not coming back. And you see her leaving Texas to come to Los Angelus unbeknownst to her that her soul would be destroyed. HOLD UP! So Dr. Sparrow could have been lying? I never thought about that before. WooHoo! -Ben

I doubt Joss would just "toss-aside" Illyria. She's too important.

Hmmm, the woman has to be Fred. Anything else wouldn't make sense, though she is really not pictured very well. I just can't wait how this will end. Sorry, but if Fred and Wesley (may it be in this world or any other) don't get together, I am gonna get really pissed off. I was already displeased that Wes was brought back, they should at least give them their redemption.
