Is this octopus-thing Illyria? Based on the blue marks where this thing hits Wesley and the cover of #14? The sucktion-thingys on the tentacles implie hell-tentacles, not Illyria tentacles.

Yes but then what happens to Illyria tentacles? I mean a demon as big as that does not just go away. Btw do u think Illyria is gonna go bad once she is you know...out?

Well I'm sure Illyria is still around in issue 15, but I guess Brian/the cover artist didn't want Illyria on this cover.
About Illyria's loyality. She has ties to Wes and Spike now, but I think that's because she felt she needed to adapt to this world and learn about it more, and because Fred had feelings for Wes and Spike. Without Fred's influence and without her former weakness, I bet she's not going to be nice...

Is Illyria male or female? I know we refer to it has "she" because of Fred... but in the series, she was "it" and referred to herself as the "god-king"... so hmmm..
Oops. Class time... Professor is starting....

I think "she's" genderless, since I doubt that she reprocicates(is that the word for making babies?) and can't be defined that way.
I think she called herself a godking, because that in our paternal society gods and kings are stronger than godesses and queens. No matter how feministic we try to be, it's in our upbringing to think that males are stronger.
She called herself a godking to gain respect.

Am I the only one that can't see the covers on this issue? Everyone is talking about how great they are, but I can't see them. There isn't even a little "x" or anything, it's just like nothing is there. I'm using Firefox 3, but I have the same problem in IE. I can see the covers for all of the other issues, though.

Is this cover created by the same artist who drew the Fred/Illyria Cover?

In December, most likely. Issues #13 and #14 still have to be released.

A larger and more vibrant version of the cover. Looks even better!
