There's no realistic-y drawing for this one like #16's Angel dusting one? Not yet, but according to the solicitation, Garner is doing a cover for #17 (presumably his final cover unless he comes back after #20).

Garner has done a cover for #17. He said on deviantart that he was asked not to post it, as it's spoilery.

Yes he did, and it's wonderful. It is VERY spoilery, indeed. It's also a bit similar to a BUFFY cover, but we had no idea at the time..just one of those things.

I'm going to take a guess here. Angel is front page news now... a recent Buffy cover had Harm as front page news... I'm guessing the Angel cover might just have a sort of newsy spread? That, or Angel being attacked by little Pokemon-like figures, which I doubt hahaha

So when will we see the cover? Isn't there only one issue left in AFTER THE FALL?? I'm so confused. Just 1 issue of After the Fall left, then Aftermath starts with issue #18. Urru's wrap-around cover has already been released, and we are just waiting on Garner's cover now.

I'm confused because...if we've seen the storyline up to now and the other cover to this issue is too spoilery...then when will we see the cover? If we're walking in our comic store on the day #17 is released and we see the cover and its too spoilery...then what is it? Like the ending to the END of #17? Get what I'm saying? lol. I'm not really sure I do.

I really want Garner's cover! I want to make the link button for the Angel: AtF directory. (which by the way is working again...the html was messed up)

I personally don't see any reason why it would be any less spoilery when we walk into the comic shop and see it, then if we got it now (since #16 has come and gone), but I understand why they would want to keep stuff from us.

I like that IDW actually holds their covers back, it's a lot better than getting spoiled, which has happened a few times with Buffy.

Okay so I really want to re-read After the fall now. I've just finished season 5 of Angel. How do you think i should read them First Night After The Fall issue 1 Spike After The Fall issues 1-4 After The Fall issues 2-17 Any suggestions as to how any of you guys have been reading them?

*coughs*
Ahem, this has been my main complaint for After the Fall. I'm unclear what the best re-reading order is. Or when newcomers to the series should read Spike: After the Fall since it's (technically) a seperate title to AtF.
Since you've read it all before, I'd probably read it in this order:
First Night Spike: After the Fall Angel: After the Fall 1-5, 9-17

Whenever I re-read the series I will do it in this order: 1. First Night (issues #6-8) 2. Spike: After the Fall 3. Angel: After the Fall (issues #1-5) 4. Angel: After the Fall (issues #9-17) That is basically the chronological order of events. Only thing that kind of messes with that, are Betta George's book-end pages in First Night, but since we have all read the issues, confusion shouldn't ensue. To anyone new to the series though, I would 100% always recommend them reading the issues in the order they were released, with Spike: After the Fall as one chunk after First Night. 1. Angel: After the Fall (issues #1-5) 2. First Night (issues #6-8) 3. Spike: After the Fall 4. Angel: After the Fall (issues #9-17)

That's the best way methinks:) Once #17 is out I have a plan to watch Power Play, NFA and then launch into reading all the comics in the order you have outlined above. Will be interesting to see how long it takes:)
