Hi guys! I was wondering which of you have been to conventions and where? Fan, comic, or pop culture conventions? I went to my first this year, the Emerald City Comicon, here in Seattle and I got to meet Jewel Staite and Tahmoh Penikett. They were both really nice and I got pretty autographed pictures from each. Tahmoh told me he knew Dollhouse was being renewed, so I knew before other people did.
I also got to talk to Georges Jeanty at length (nice guy) and he signed a few of my Buffy comics.
Who else has been to a convention and meet Jossverse actors/writers/etc? Please post pictures and stories please!

I went to Wizard World Boston in 2005 and New York Comic Con in 2007. I only went to them for the Whedonverse stuff. Met Nicholas Brendon, Robia LaMorte, Iyari Limon, Juliet Landau, Bianca Lawson and saw Eliza Dushku. Besides that, I found both expeirences completely miserable because I just wasn't interested in anything else, and they were hot and smelly. It was cool seeing all kinds of different fandoms though.
But I've been getting into more stuff the last couple years that conventions have to offer, and I'm going to try my hardest to make it out to New York for 2010.

I went to FX International con in Orlando this year. It was awesome! I met James Marsters, Juliet Landau, Julie Benz, Clare Kramer, and Camden Toy. They were all very nice... except for Julie Benz... she seemed sort of annoyed by everyone.. meh... Juliet and James, though were amazingly nice! I shook James' hand like 7 times and I hugged him.. a lot.. I loved it! It was a great experience and I will deff go back next year. I also hope to go to the NY Comic con in 2010... if i can afford it...
