As I saw the trailer to "In the dark" my first reaction was, Oz is joining ANGEL (because I´ve heard back then that Seth Green was leaving Buffy- and I thought this would have been a nice way to have that "shocking announcement" playing out).
Then after the cancellation of season five, I remember Jeffrey Bell saying, he wanted to bring Oz onto Angel (at least as a guest) to let him help Nina with her werewolf-side.
What do you think? Would you have liked Oz to join Angel as a regular?

YES!
Although I think he would have been even more great as a cast member earlier on.
His and Angels similar quiet demenour would be hilarious when constantly together...and Oz's interaction with chirpy Cordelia circa season 1 - 3 would have been fun.
Plus maybe he would have wolfed out and accidently eaten baby Connor and saved everyone a lot of grief.lol.

i'd of loved for him to of gone live in LA, and come on the show whenever he can help Angel but i suppose then he wouldn't of been able to learn how to control his wolfyness, and he would have to go to Angels to be caged up they probably would of got tired of keeping that in the show we also wouldn't have his uber cool return coming in a WEEEEK although everyone must know about this already due to the adverts all over the place

to stakey: Absolutely! Oz eating baby connor would have been hilarious!
Yeah, I would have liked him to be recurring in season one and a regular from season 2 onwards
@ iamtheWalrus: yeah, that´s right, but I´m afraid, that we won´t get what we all want. They will bring Oz in and use him very rarely and afterwards the Scoobies leave him in tibet. I´m a little pessimistic on that

Oz would have been great for the show, and I thought of him when Nina was first introduced. Maybe it's just one of those "if Season Six had happened" things...

I believe they were toying with the idea. Green had to leave Buffy for 6 episodes to film Austin Powers 2, and he was given the choice whether or not to return afterward. I remember reading in an interview (Tim Minear I think) that the staff were considering moving Oz over. Obviously, Green decided not to return so it never came to be. That would have been fantastic though, Oz was great on Angel.

No, Seth was definitely coming back if Angel had a sixth season.

It would have been good to see him again, but I wouldn't want him as a regular. I think AtS took enough characters from BtVS. Angel, Cordy, Wesley, Spike, Harmony, for example. But for a guest appearance would have been nice! ;D

I remember watching In the Dark a few months ago and thinking that he has more lines than in most Buffy eps! And action too! He drives a van through a warehouse and comes out the back wielding two, that's right two freaking crossbows! Think of what they could have done with the character. On the other hand, if they had brought Oz in as a major character, they would have almost certainly paired him up with somebody else in the show, and then Oz would no longer be a true Willow devotee. Think of the arguments online over who he loved more!

Ironic considering his first conversation with Angel in that episode. "Oz." "Hey." "Nice surprise." "Thanks." "Staying long?" "Few days." Doyle - "Are they always like this? Oz - "No, we're usually laconic." (My favorite conversation from Angel, by the way. )

Yeah that was awesome.
I would love to have Oz now in the On-going series. Now, that Gunn and Illyria, so it seems, are heading to their own mission and connor having enough trouble with Gwen, it could be good for him, to have more familiar faces around him besides Spike, who probably leaves for his own series, and Kate (so far Kate is going to be part of the gang after Aftermath).

I would've liked to see him as a regular on Angel. I think he would have brought a different kind of humor. Sorta makes you go "huh" and then chuckle. Dunno, that's just me though.

I agree that the conversations between Angel and Oz would have been hilarious! I love the one Hellbound Hyperion pointed out.....David and Seth together alot as those two very quiet characters would have been a hoot to watch.
And the eating Conner part could have been icing on the cake.

I think the Oz helps Nina with her inner-wolf story would have been great material for the on-going Angel license, but infortunately Season 8 has claimed him so it'll not come to pass.

As much as I like Oz I don't think I would have liked to see him as a full time character. I think the werewolf chick would have been a better way to go. I liked the interactions that she and Angel had, especially in "Smile Time" (one of my favorite episodes of Angel btw). I would have loved to see a relationship develop between Angel and her. Oz would just complicate that situation. As a guest character absolutely, but not as a lead.

I would have liked Oz as an addition to the season 5 cast, or at least stop by again. I was really hoping he was going to make an appearance in season 7 of Buffy.

I wouldn't have liked to see him join the cast in S1 I think they had enough Buffy characters that crossed over and I don't really know what they would have done with him, were he would have fitted. But I think he would have made a nice addition if there had been a season 6 not as a main cast member but as someone who was seen regularly kind of like Gwen.

As much as I love Oz, I wouldn't like the idea of him joining the cast. I would've liked to see him do a lot more guest appearances though! That would be cool! It was sad to see him slip off the map once he left Willow. Tear.
