This is the only one I can see. I'm not really keen on covers featuring characters we don't know, but this is well done. Really well done. Great coloring. Doesn't really feel like an Angel cover, but maybe it will when we read about the character.

Pretty cool. I love the coloring, but it's sort of boring. She looks like an interesting character. Whoa, disagree about boring. I think this might be one of the best covers we got today. Her eyes are utterly captivating and I feel creeped out everytime I look at this one. It's awesome. Well it's a beautiful cover, no lie. But when I think cover, I think bright and exciting, this is just not... IMO.

I loove this cover. It isn't bright and exciting but it's dark and atmospheric-which is just as good, if not better. I'm excited about the purpose of this new character Dez.

I am loving the whole look of Aftermath so far. From Runge's dark covers, Rodriguez's great captures of Kate, Connor, and Gwen, to the early look at Dave Ross' interior art. I love it all. Couldn't be more excited. Well, unless Wesley finds a way to appear.

LOL Cordy/Spike would be awesome! we really need more of her in Aftermath! i disagree, although her appearance in ATF was a poignant one I don't like the idea of her continuing to reappear. It kind of undermines her exit in "Your Welcome" IMO.

Yeah well, we will just have to wait and see if we do end up seeing her again and why, I think she is the one who sends the 'Angel Warrior' to help Angel, but I don't know. Lots of people seem to think it undermines her exit, I don't see how, she is a fraking Higher Being and she is still around, so why not? I can't see how it takes away anything from YW and A:ATF but just add to them.

Their point is that if she appears all the time, her appearances will no longer be special.

Thorn of Gachnar, seemingly all your posts are about Cordelia, it's a little tiresome. I mean, Cordy's one of my favourite characters, don't get me wrong, but she's not the be-all-and-end-all of the Buffyverse.
Cordelia's character arc ended in "Birthday". In that episode, the fomerly selfish, vain, fame-hungry valley girl gave up a career as an actress and risked deformity for the mission and her friends. It was the perfect conclusion for the character, and afterwards the writers struggled with her because there was nowhere left for her to go. Saint Cordelia was a bore, and Evil Cordelia was even worse.
"You're Welcome" was effective because it was short and sweet; it reminded us what we loved about the character, but didn't really do anything new with her. AtF was a pleasant surprise and justifed by the extreme circumstances of the story, but again, it didn't really develop Cordy in any way. If they keep bringing her back, it's going to dilute the character as she becomes predictable and repetitive... "Look readers, Cordelia's back... again!"
We all love Cordelia, but at some point you just have to draw a line under her and say goodbye. "Birthday", "You're Welcome", and AtF have all been fitting conclusions to the character... when's it going to end? For God's sake, let her go out with some dignity instead of dredging her up every couple of years for some cheap fanservice.

Hey, I was quoted.... Ok? :oSo I was just backing up my thoughts, that was it. (We just have to see if she is even seen again, and she does not "appear all the time" what, once after YW, maybe one more time again. (2X, But I know what your saying and your very right.) I know that and I am sorry, (about the Cordy posts, I thought this was a ‘Buffy’ forum, It’s not like I can talk about this to anyone in the real world.) I will stop now about all the Cordy posts,...... Sorry..

You don't have to apologize, dude, you can post whatever you want.

Thorn of Gachnar, you can absolutely post whatever you want like Pat says. I'll admit that I don't think Cordy could or should reappear, so I won't be agreeing with you. But that doesn't mean you can't hope for it and talk about that here considering she's your favorite character.

Of course you can post what you like, but simply reiterating your love for the same character gets a little repetitive IMO. I do however apologise if I hurt your feelings Thorn.

I'm really loving the covers for AFTERMATH. Now I'm re-thinking waiting for the TPB to come out...

Wait, was there already a preview for this issue?
Where did this talk of three Slayers come from?
Dez sounds pretty cool.

I doubt they'd make her both a slayer and a cat-changer, though.
