and it is confirmed Cory is appearing "KA: Mmm. Yes, she will return, but it will be a fairly...restricted return. " I hope it does not been a flashback... or if so I hope it is just after You're Wecome and shows how she became a higher being, that would be cool...

So technically, Cordy isn't dead. She's a higher being now, correct?

She's dead. No matter what role you play in the afterlife, you're still dead.

Yes, she did die... but now as she is a higher being who really knows??? (Like Leo in Charmed...he died but got a new body, just like the his old one... the most powerful force of good would have the power to do that. ) I guess she could be re-born again like Jasmine ? but Jasmine was very old right? and more powerful? But I am sure no one will really know anything for sure....

Yeah, she was. And it will be quite weird if Cordelia gets reborn like Jasmine...

Maybe the Cordelia cult (the storyline was was cut from After the fall) can do all the dirty work to get her back lol...

So, I think that most people are going to consider this NON CANON based on Scott's Q&A for the recent Buffy ish where he says that he plans his issues having nothing to do with Aftermath.

So, I think that most people are going to consider this NON CANON based on Scott's Q&A for the recent Buffy ish where he says that he plans his issues having nothing to do with Aftermath. What Scott said has nothing to do with the final canonical status of Aftermath: Scott Allie: Not for me to say how involved Joss is with Angel anymore, or whether or not the new story is canon. Chris Ryall and I were writing back and forth this weekend while I'm at this convention, talking about the practicality of keeping our storylines separate. I think canon is something we'll only all be able to really understand in hindsight, as we pursue our separate storylines. He discussed with Chris Ryall, Dark Horse and IDW's future plans for both licenses. They are obviously interested in working together in keeping the stories congruent and not risking continuity errors, because there are obviously worries about keeping the stories separate (most likely to do with Angel and Spike appearing in Buffy down the line). So I don't see anything in his reply that determines the canonical status of Aftermath.

Ah, sorry. I completely misread that. I know some people are content with just making the decision on whether or not its actual canon or not themselves, but I hope in the future we do get some official word.

Well, well, finally we have some decent art. Things are starting to look up with Aftermath. I'm still not sure about the whole angel thing, since it kinda reminds me of Supernatural, but I am interested in James' story. He seems interesting

Yup - this is more like it. Better art...better writing. Maybe this arc can be saved yet!
This preview has renewed my enthusiasm for the line

Wow. The art, while still not great, is a huge improvement. I like the cartoony-ness of it, the characters look more realistic and the environments look more detailed. Kate's abs are laughable, but other than that, it's a lot better.

I actually like this kind of art, it's not very photographic but it works very well for me. I have still not read the last issue, so I was bit of lost ... but I like it, it's much better than issue #19. The only thing I'm not sure of, is Kate's thoughts ... they sound off. But I feel really bad for Kelley and Dave, they probably gave their best shot and saw all the complaints (why else did Dave change the style) .. I hope they read the positive things as well.

Kate has adopted Kr'ph's "Hell Moment" phrase. I hope she also starts calling people mongrels.
