I got a man reaction over Victor! LOL
I liked this episode, the cult singing freaked me out though. I loved the "I have a messege from God... MOVE YOUR ASS, LETS GO!" line.

Oh god. *facepalm* lol I agree Sierra's purty lookin'. I wouldn't throw her out of the bed for leaving crumbs. So yeah, I liked this ep. I think the eps delivered so far have been what I'd call average, but I have noted a marked improvement starting with epsiode 4. I am fully expecting to see this even more improved starting with episode 6, and if the show really does pick up after that, I can foresee fans on down the line referring to 6 as the "new pilot" (per hitnrun017). I know I certainly am looking forward to 6 being a kind of a fresh start, so to speak. Nitpick: The music for the episodes is not doing it for me. Sometimes it's good, but most of the time it just seems low-budget, or synthesized, or canned, or... I can't quite get the word I'm reaching for. The music in this ep starting at 45:45 is amazing. That theme is just flat out amazing. But some of the other stuff, like the music propelling the action, is not doing it for me. I think I got spoiled with the amazing scoring for Joss' other efforts, particularly Buffy. But I did think this episode was pretty good. I enjoyed watching it but it wasn't quite as interesting to me as "Gray Hour". And I loved "Gray Hour" relative to the previous three eps which were pretty blah, but had their good moments. I do see Eliza's acting improving as the series progresses and I feel like at this point that I can have a little faith (har har) that she will continue to improve while she sees us through to the season finale. And? "Man reaction," that's definitely going to go down in the annals of Joss one-liners for the facepalm, and I couldn't help but notice the whole of the scenes happening in the dollhouse were rife with puns about it. lol Oh to have been a fly on the wall when Joss and Tim discussed the script. :> Much about this ep was strong with the Whedon. I enjoyed the interaction between no-nonsense scientist Dr. Claire, and jittery Topher. I got a few chuckles out of their moments on camera together, because they're so juxtaposed. I think they're probably more similar than they appear, though, and as the show goes on I'm interested to see more from her, and about Alpha's attack, and how Topher feels about it. I kind of think Dominic and Alpha are working together, but to me that seems a bit cliche that the only two villains revealed thus far are in league together. I think I might find it more intriguing if it's revealed that they have nothing to do with one another. Oh yeah... I think Boyd is awesome.

Episode 4: Gray Hour - Questionnaire Favorite character: Topher. His humor in past episodes didnt really crack me up but this episode was definately the point in which I came to like him. The dialogue between him and Claire was totally Joss-ian and I loved it. It was cute and awkward. My new phrase is now "Man reaction". Least favorite character: At first it was sparrow, but then it was the cop who set everything up. He was one of those characters you really come to hate. Favorite scene: The scenes with Topher and Claire. I felt that whose were the funniest and most entertaining scenes, simply because it was funny to watch how awkward it was. However, I felt that the scene where Ballard saw Echo on the tv was pretty decent as well. Least favorite scene: Not that it was a bad scene at all, but I really came to feel anger towards Ballard when he ignored his neighbor after he got another "clue". Biggest surprise: Esther/Echo getting her vision back. I felt that was the biggest surprise and was sure she was going to remain blind until the end of the episode, to which we would find out something went wrong with the procedure. Thing you saw coming a mile away: Probably the end where Echo comes through once again. Thoughts on Echo's personality: I loved Esther. I felt that was one of the best personas she's had to take on so far and it was a very good way for Eliza to show off her acting chops. If I would have met her on the street (obviously not knowing it was Eliza!) I would have really believed she was blind. Thoughts on this week's engagement: Something very unique. I hope we continue to have more and more unique engagements such as this weeks. The only thing I still do not understand is why exactly Echo is being out on these when she was supposed to have only romantic engagements. Question you want answered most: Why is Laurence such a dick!? Favorite line: Everything with the man reaction. "Its not oak, but its on its way to wood" or something to that effect. Did you enjoy this episode more than the prior one? Yes. This and The Target remain my favorite.
Wait, what exactly did Echo do to the mirror at the end?
AND OMFG VICTOR IS SEXY.

The music so far is just completely forgettable. I love shows with good scores, especially Buffy's. The music easily made great scenes perfect, full of emotion. All three Joss shows have amazing music, so I can only hope that Dollhouse's will grow. Only five episodes in, but still, nothing to remember. There is one piece of music on THIS[/b][/u] official FOX site that I really enjoy and hope will appear on the show sometime.

So, I'm going to join the club of saying that Victor is very sexy. Oy.... *Runs off to make a sexy Victor button*.... I don't know how many of you speak Russian, but since I do, I figured it'd be appropriate to put his name in Cyrillic...

Wait, what exactly did Echo do to the mirror at the end? I dont know. i must have missed that bit I believe this was at the end of "Grey Hour", where Echo came out of the shower and walked up to a fogged mirror, where she drew a face in the fog (think the Picasso scene earlier) and then wiped it away to expose her reflection.

I loved the "I have a messege from God... MOVE YOUR ASS, LETS GO!" line. I loved that line too, very funny. I'm really hating the character, Laurence Dominic. Seriously. I hope Alpha pays him a visit. I know that was mean but he pistol whipped (Is that the right term?) Echo. What the heck? He's seriously trippin'. For some reason, making Echo blind was a real turn-on for me. I guess because of how vulnerable she was. Everyone was outstanding in this episode. I hope Victor is done with that Russian persona, I really hated his accent. I love the show so far and everything but do you guys think its a little rushed? Having Echo remember her past experiences and whatnot. And for Sierra too. You know? I don't really mind, I just want to savor the flavor. You know? lol.
