i watched the whole thing and then Serenity directly after. and i gotta say i LOVED it. i absolutely adored Objects In Space, it's a beautifully crafted piece of television.
I also loved the movie, especially the final battle where River goes ape sh*t on the Reavers. i was kinda dissapointed that she was wearing shoes, though. I thought the Miranda plot was really really good, and them broadcasting kit to the world and everything.
Favorite characters are Wash, Zoe, Kaylee and Shepherd Book. Least favorite is Jayne.
The only thing i did NOT LIKE at all was Wash's death in Serenity. why? cause it was far too unnecessary. All it did was show us how strong and tough Zoe was, which we already knew! I do think that someone should have died in the final battle, and i think that should have been Jayne. not just because i don't like him, but because the crew always said they didn't like him, and his death would make them realize that they all really did love him as a member of the crew all along. I just think it would have been more practical.

Objects in Space is by far one of my absolute favorite episodes that Joss himself has done as writer/director.
