Buffy sat on her bed. She was sitting with her legs crossed, and back against the wall. Her blond bangs hung infront of her face. She hadn't been that concerned about her appearance lately, so she didn't look that well. Her hair was a mess, and cheeks stained from tears. The past three weeks had been horrible. The gang had been out dusting a vamp lair, and one got away; Away with Willow. Buffy looked for hours that night, but never found her. She knew that only the worst could have happened. Willow was missing for the next few days, but everyone tried their best to stay positive. It got harder once Willow made herself heard. She had tricked Xander into inviting her into his house, and attacked him. Thank god Anyahad been there. Anya had managed to get a cross in time. Vampires around the town had grown stronger, more bold. Buffy guessed that Willow had something to do with this.
Things only got worse from there. Oz had taken the news pretty bad. He was like a stone. But one daty he just completely changed. Oz was... Odd. The gang wasn't sure what really happened, but Buffy knew that, once again, Willow must be messing with the magical arts. Vampires + Magic = Bad! SunnyDale was turning into a much worse living hell.
-----------------------------
The morning seemed bright. That's because it was. Buffy's eyes opened slightly, but quickly closed again. Her mother was knocking on the door. Joyce didn't realize how bad this situation was on everyone. She knew that being a vampire was bad, but she didn't quite get it. How could she? Buffy heard her mother speaking, but hardly understood her. Something about getting up...
Buffy sat up. She was wearing silky pants. They were a soft blue color. Her top was yellow, and much too bright, like the sun. The two clothes did not match very well. Her hair was up in a tangled bun. A few strings hung down in the back. How long had she been wearing these? How long had she been in the house? In this room? This bed? Buffy's head was spinning; The past was rushing back.
"I'm up...," Buffy said to herself, realizing that her mother had left the room. She sighed.

It was nothing. Oz had heard the rustle of the leaves and mistaken it for footsteps. Sighing deeply he dug his pockets into the only article of clothing he was wearing: a pair of baggy blue jeans, and started walking. It was another night of failure, and now he could see the sun rising. Willow wouldn't be out now. Oz had spent teh last few nights out, hunting for the love of his life. He wasn't looking to kill her, all he knew was that he was now overcome witht the desire to simply find her. He didn't knwo what would happen then. The entire Scooby Gang was a,lso obsessed with finding her, but he was sure they were not in teh same boat as him as far as hunting reasons went.
Oz let out a low growl and sloped off home. he would sleep and saty in probably all day and then come back out once night fell. He didn't go to class anymore, he wasn't in the band anymore. He didn't even live with Devon now. Every day he crashed somewhere different. Sometimes he would go into an abandoned place, or simply a house that vacationers had vacated for a weekend. Several times he simply curled up in the woods. he was becoming more and more wolf like every day, honing his primal instincts. He walked past Buffy's house and spotted a movement from her bedroom window. he guessed she had not gone to college after all, what with the Willow situation.

Buffy had not trained in days, but her slayer instinct kicked in suddenly. Something was was watching her. Something non-human. It was an odd feeling. She hadn't felt it resently. Her head turned in all directions, eyes scanning the room. Buffy jumped off of her bed, and quickly walked over to her window. The blinds her shut. Her hands raised, and opened them slowly.
Was this a dream? Buffy hadn't seen Oz in at least two weeks. He was outfront of her house, and looked... Like a wolf. His hair was longer, and his eyes looked black. Buffy could have sworn she saw pointed teeth coming out of his lower jaw. He had gotten worse. Where had he been? Most importantly, had he found Willow?
Buffy was back in the game. Oz was dangerous, and outside of her home. He wasn't another vampire; Oz could come into this house if he wanted to. What was he going to do now? Buffy waited to see his game plan.

Oz drew his teeth back instictively, but he couldn't smell or sense any agression coming from Buffy, so he allowed himself to relax. he did not, however, approach the house. he stepped onto the lawn and gazed up at her. His wolfish senses had been nudging him lately. Telling him he did not belong inside. He was not a tame family dog. he was a wolf. He knew he'd talk to Buffy if she came down, but he knew he would not come to her.

Buffy looked down on the Wolf-like Oz. He needed help. Her help. Was it even still Oz? ... Didn't matter; This thing needed to be tamed if it wanted to or not. She gave him a quick nod, letting him know that she was going down. Buffy turned away from the window, and went to exit her room. She stopped. Her hand grabbed at the wooden arrow on her night stand. It was handy, and easy to stab with. If Oz attacked, she would need a weapon of some sort.
She walked down the halls, looked around for her mother. Joyce must be in her bed room. Now was a good time to slip out of the house. Buffy had hidden the arrow in the side of her pants. The top of her pants held it still, and the bottom of her shirt hid it nicely. Finally, Buffy made it to the front door. She took a deep breath before taking her first step outside.

Meanwhile, across town in his apartment, Giles was noes deep into a book thinking about the Willow situation and how to solve it. They could preform the curse that had been used on Angel, but Giles had no doubt in his mind that she would have found a way to prevent them from accomplishing such a thing. No, there was only one answer, the one real solution, and he knew that it would be much more bloody and tragic and bloody tragic than anything that they could hope for. He slammed his fist on his desk. Then his door bell rang.

Buffy stopped about ten feet from Oz. Maybe she shouldn't have come out here...
"Oz..." She greeted her friend.
His eyes were pitch black, and had no emotion in them. Had Willow changed his personality, or replaced it all together? Didn't matter; Buffy needed to help him. The real Oz had to be deep inside there somewhere. He could control it, beat this thing if he tried hard enough.

"Buffy." he said. he could smell fear from her now, but he also knew that she would not act on it. Slayer's didn't do that sort of thing. "Is there something you wanted?" He was keeping the conversation on friendlier terms, but his body language did not add to it. He stood with his feet shoulder width apart, arms relaxed, but strong by his sides. he looked at her, waiting.

"I came down to ask you the same thing. I mean, you were hanging around my house..." Buffy raised one eye brow at him. Her eyes looked him up and down. "My god, Oz... What happened to you?" OOC: Sorry for the shorter post, but I couldn't think of anything else to type! TAG OZ

Oz ignored the first bit of what Buffy said. "Many things have happened to me, Buffy." he relaxed a little. Not because he was at ease, but because it hurt his arms to keep still for that long. Not all his wolf traits had transferred to his human self yet. "Any sign of her?" he asked, a little pleadingly. In the back of his mind he reminded himself that Buffy was probably looking to kill Willow.

Buffy looked down at the ground. Her eye lids were half closed.
"Truthfully... I wouldn't know. She looked up at him. He looked a bit taller than before. Buffy knew she wouldn't tell Oz if she knew anything anyway.
"I've been too buisy locked up in my room, crying my eyes out..." Buffy usually wouldn't tell an enemy something like this, but she wasn't sure if Oz counted as an enemy... Yet, anyway.

Oz looked away. "I'm going to find her. Soon." He said. "But i'm not going to tell you when I do." he didn't feel he had to tell her why.

"Of course..." Suddenly, it hit her. "You love her. I respect that. You belong together. I have some of Willow's clothes inside, from when she would stay over. Do you want them? They'd help with tracking.""I can go inside and get them. I don't think my mom would like it too much if she saw a half man/half wolf in her house."OOC: This really sounds out of character, but just wait!

Oz flinched. Somrthing was off here. why would she be offering ot help? Was she going to track him after he was set on Willow's scent. "I'm no police dog." He said, a hint of a snarl in his voice. "I will not lead you to her." He galnced down at his hands and saw that his fingernals were growing sharper tips on them. "bring them to me." He said.

Buffy smiled at him. She turned her back to him, and walked inside the house.
She ran up to her room, where Willow's extra clothes were. It was a few shirts, and a skirt. Buffy picked them up. Next, she went to her closet, where a tranquilizer gun was. Giles had given it to her, just after Oz had gone bonkers a few weeks ago. It was smaller than the ones they usually used, so it would be easy to hide at first. But being so small meant that Buffy only had one shot, so she had to make this be perfect.
The gun was put in the other side of pants. The arrow in the other. The spell Willow had cast on Oz made him do anything for love. He would be blind at first by her scent, giving Buffy the chance to shoot.
Buffy arrived down at the door again. She walked out, and tossed the pile of clothes a few feet ahead of Oz. Her hand reached for the tranquilizer as she saw Oz go for the bait.

Oz crouched and picked up the shirt. Willow's scent poured from it, and for a moment he wanted to wrap himself up it. Still crouching, he raised it to his face. A second later he saw something silver in Buffy's hand. He dove sideways and rolled easily. As he came up onto his feet smoothly, he saw a little something with a bright red fuzzy ball on the end. tranq darts. Oz was perfectly steady from his flawless dodge, but he had not expected Buffy to reload the gun so fast. The second dart was going to come...

Buffy pulled the triger. It was hard to do. To do that to Oz. He was her friend... Wasn't he? The dart hit into his right shoulder, and Buffy bit her bottom lip. Quickly, she loaded it once more, just in case. Without thinking, she fired again. Buffy wasn't taking any chances right now.

Oz let out a yelp like a wounjded dog and stumbled. he thought for a moment that he could overpower this, but then with a thunk a third dart rammed into his bare chest. he sunk to his knees. Full of rage, oz tried to rise, but the world spun. he felt himself thud to the ground, and everything was swirling in the dawn light. The blackness descended, and everything went dark.

Buffy waited a few moments to see if Oz was down for good. He was. She walked over to him, and dragged him into the house. The best place for him would be the basement. She would chain him down there. After that, call Giles. He would know what to do from there on.
