Yeah, my roommate told me the news this morning. I literally yelped with joy. Not getting a Monday slot will suck, but an almost guaranteed full order for the season AND we don't have to wait past Christmas? I'll take it, gladly.

Does that mean that it will be on Fridays? That's when Southland was airing. I believe against Dollhouse....

It's not necessarily coming back soon. And Southland was cancelled before it was even put on the air, so there still isn't a slot for it; that's where Dateline is. From what I heard, if anything it would get put into the lineup early if Trauma gets cancelled, so that would mean Mondays at 8. In other news, NBC has officially ordered 6 more episodes, bringing the season total up to 19. ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/10/28/breaking-nbc-ups-chuck-order/

And not only that, but Trauma's getting nixed because of this purchase. Chuck + Heroes on Monday nights again, please!

I just started watching Chuck last week and I'm quite possibly in love. With the show and with Sarah.
I'm still not used to seeing Adam Baldwin without his manly Jayne facial hair though.

So the show's back on Mondays at its normal time, Heroes immediately following. It starts January 10th with two back-to-back episodes, then starts up its regular time on Mondays on January 11th. Episode order is still 19, AFAIK. GET EXCITED!!

I hope they develop the Chuck/Sarah relationship further. They keep teasing us!! I've heard that... the new Intersect complicates Chuck/Sarah's relationship Beyond that I won't say. Just gonna have to tune in (or you can scope out all the interviews from the past couple of weeks )

HH, i'm gonna try to sould the least like a dick as i can when i say this.. but... Duh... hahaha... of course it complicates the relationship, he's basically all the best of a spy and a computer... a badass spy and badass computer... but it's still gonna be interesting to see how Casey and Sarah react to it.
Also, as a Law & Order buff, i'm really excited to see Angie Harmon.

Sunday. Is. The. Day. Two back-to-back episodes starting at 9/8c, then Monday it's on at 8/7c, which is its regular time (with Heroes back at its original time, 9/8c). No more Mr. Nice Spy.

So. Last night. Operation Bartowski is officially back online. YEAAAH! Chuck Versus the Pink Slip was very good in setting up the six-month time jump from the last time we saw Chuck, and I love that he's still as silly a spy as ever. Plus, more great Casey stuff, especially in Chuck Versus The Three Words. Carina came back! The Ring is seriously powerful though. Also, what's in that briefcase that the General doesn't want them peeking at it? And who's that guy she was talking to? Ooo so much fun! Another episode of Chuck tonight at the regular time, 8/7c. Be there!! *excited* ETA: Oh wow. Tonight's Chuck was incredible. I LOVE that Awesome is being included in Chuck's spy world now, and this episode proved to me that it could work as a fun concept every once in a while. Also CLIFFHANGER MUCH?!

Chuck vs First Class.
I'm extremely pleased that Kristin Kreuk and Brandon Routh are recurring characters. Great casting. It seems a little weird that Hannah is going to work at the Buy More. That is a huge salary decrease than what she used to do. Chuck is starting to annoy me with his "I want to be a spy. I don't want to be a spy. I want to be a spy. I don't to be a spy." situation. He can't have it both ways. It sucks that we didn't get to see Ellie and Captain Awesome in this episode. And where the heck is Chuck's father? He just disappeared after the season three finale. I hope we see him again. Scott Bakula did an excellent job.

I hope we see him again. Scott Bakula did an excellent job. Chuck hasn't been inconsistent. He didn't want to be a spy, but now he wants to be a spy as of S3. Why? Sarah. He's not trying to have it both ways. He's trying to have Sarah, and he can't do that without giving up either his normal life or his spy life. And as of the past few episodes, he's started to really enjoy being a spy. It's kind of odd how you say you've come to dislike what has always been the central conflict of the show. From the previews of next week, it looks like Chuck's dad is still in business somewhere out there. I'm sure Bakula will be back soon enough. In the meantime, yay solo mission! The whole Shaw story was pretty telegraphed, but I've warmed to him, he's an interesting character to have in the mix. And I bet they had a ton of fun hitting Stone Cold Steve Austin with a bunch of luggage.

I was watching last night's ep of Chuck, and it hit me how much some of John Casey's mannerisms still remind me of Jayne Cobb. Has anyone else ever thought this? Anyway, last night's ep was interesting. Can't wait to see what will go down between Chuck and the mysterious Paris lady. I'm sure there is definitely more to her than meets the eye. And I'm betting that Sarah will have feelings of jealousy toward Chuck's new, mysterious lady friend, which may cause her to examine her feelings for Chuck on a more serious level.
