This week... eh. I feel like every case is just a gimmick now. This week there was a witch, last week it was a 'rock star', before that there was a 'demon'.
I feel like they're going for flashiness over actual original story lines. There are enough original ways that normal people kill each other that there doesn't need to be a high profile victim each time. Now it seems like 75% of the show is proving how this person is actually normal, or who they were, or whatever, and then at the end they just say 'He did it!'. I much preferred when the killer didn't have such completely outlandish motives, and you could actually guess who the killer was.
Still, Angela and Hodgins?! Woot woot. I knew it would happen eventually. It appeased me well enough that I'll keep watching. (Not that I wouldn't anyway. Still, it was time.)
Next week's episode looks like it has merit, at least.

i'm having a lot of difficulty staying objective regarding David Boreanaz whilst watching Bones now. Every time he opens his mouth, I just wanna be like, "Yeah... But you cheated on your pregnant wife, so.... You're wrong."

I watched Bones tonight. Only cause I was watching FOX earlier and didn't turn the channel. It was alright I always try to get into that and Fringe, but I just can't. Now really anyway.

That whole episode was spent making the Gravedigger the most evil person in the world. I was legitimately on edge the entire time. Mission accomplished, Hart Hanson, you sly bastard.
But here's another season finale that's going to wrench my heart out and stomp all over it. I simply refuse to believe it's true until it happens. (Which, oddly, is working for me this season. And hey, more commercials for Lie To Me! Can't wait for it to come back, and glad it was not forgotten by FOX during pickups.)

I forgot to watch the preview for next week. I realized right as Fringe was starting.
This week I thought was actually pretty good though. The gravedigger seems incredibly evil, and as much of an ordeal as that must have been, I feel like this is one of the first times where we really saw that Hodgins, Brennan, and Booth were actually affected by the experience.
Also, feeling a little worried that Brennan no longer wants to solve murders. Maybe she'll come back around, but it's one of those things where they wouldn't have put it in unless it was going to become a big deal.

Yeah, I was really excited about this weeks episode, even before they showed previews for it. And it didn't let me down. I have been a little annoyed by all the weird elements to all the episodes. I mean, I love supernatural shows as much as the next person. But on a show that isn't geared for that genre . . . Really? It felt like there were moments where the show was kind of "stretching it" a little.
But it is one of my favorite shows. And I'm a little worried that when (or if) they ever do really put Booth and Brennan together, they will be jumping the shark. As much as I want to see it happen, I wonder how it will affect the ratings of the show.

^ Which is probably why they haven't put Brennan and Booth together

I agree, every episode seems to be hell bent on making Bones a joke of a show. Also does anyone else feel that Brennan should have grown as a person, she's seems to have reverted to a robot bones, that's spews information and is a bit smug.

I think, at least during this past case, she was decidedly reverting to robot Bones. She said herself that she thought her relationships were putting her at a disadvantage.

Oh, last night's episode was actually pretty good. It's sort of depressing that they're all separating, but I think it's probably good. They'll come back after a year, and they'll know what they all want. Plus it's not like we actually have to suffer through an entire year of their separation.
The whole episode was pretty painful with the decision-making, but I liked the ending. Bones and Booth's goodbye was sweet. Can't wait until they meet again.
Also, I thought it was cool that it was about a hoarder. My friend and I were talking about the show called Hoarders like, 3 days ago, and saying how they should make an episode of CSI/Bones/whatever about them. So I was excited at the coincidence.

Lots of hate being passed around about the finale, but I loved it. It's an honest shake-up after a lot of crazy things happening (Booth's surgery + recovery, Angela and Hodgins finally getting married, Cam and her daughter, etc). They all need the time off, and it should prove to be an interesting storytelling experiment for next season. Can't wait.

I feel bad for Cam. She's going to have to break in a new FBI-forensic anthropologist duo, plus a bugs and slime guy, plus an arty computer person all by herself.

I liked the finale. Gonna post my reply as a spoiler just in case someone hasn't seen the episode. I think it left itself open to interpretation as to why they all made the choices they did. And I think it sets the charazters up for a lot of growth to take place during the "year" they are gone. And I kind of felt bad for Sweets after he and Daisy broke up, even though I thought she was highly annoying. And yes, I feel bad for Cam too. lol
