Joss's Glee episode is number 19 so it won't be until the end. If they manage to stay on task with one new Glee episode per week, that means Joss's episode should air mid-May thereabouts.

I kinda hope Joss begins to pursue more Buffyverse things. The s8 comics are nice, but I'd love something live action. Though it will probably never happen, the timing just feels ridiculously right. That or I want a Dollhouse movie or a Serenity sequel!

I don't think he'd do anything Dollhouse related. He got to finish up what he wanted; Tell the story he wanted to. I'm kinda wishing Dollhouse will be left alone now; Leave it while it is still amazingtastic.

^^ I kinda agree with you. Maybe lay off Dollhouse for a year or two. It's not like I don't love the series (cuz I DO!!!) but it's truly something that I don't think will work out in the comics. It's just too darn complicated to have it that way. It's just my opinion though.

The problem with networks like Syfy and whatnot is that they cannot afford for Joss to make any TV Series as his budget is way too high. They said they'd like to give Joss the chance to make Dollhouse S3 but they couldn't even afford the reduced budget that Fox gave them for S2. Joss also said that when Dollhouse is over (whether naturally or cancelled) he would stop doing TV, at least for a while. It leaves his schedule pretty open, hopefully to make Dr. Horrible 2. I would love to see more Firefly, but what could they do? They couldn't use the original cast, Nathan is busy with Castle, Morena with V, Adam with Chuck. Maybe a sequel series set after Serenity with River and Simon, I don't know.
God I miss Firefly.

although dollhouse is going to be cancelled i think it is really turning out to be a good end of the series, unlike the Tru Calling (although not Joss related) Finale, i mean we didn't even get an end, it just got cancelled mid season.

When I first heard about it I got all excited, but I'm gonna wait until we know more about this. Joss did say that when Dollhouse finishes we'll know his next project. I always assumed he was talking about Dr. Horrible 2.

He did say he would be done with traditional TV after Dollhouse, but then he talked about how you could do pretty much anything on cable. Maybe he's changing his mind? It'll be interesting to see what, if anything, falls out of these initial talks with FX.

I wish he would do the Spike movie he's been talking about for years. I watched a video on TMZ the other night of James Marsters and he looked so sad and dissapointed when they asked if there was going to be a Spike movie and he said Joss wasn't planning on it, but he'd be more than willing. I think ScyFy would jizz their pants if Joss Whedon would work for them. He would definatly bring in the ratings they are desperately lacking. But the point was brought up that they have a small budget, that is true but I think they're getting desperate and would be willing to go broke for Joss. He's a good investment. I'm watching Caprica tonight because James is gonna be on there.

And SyFy does just fine in ratings, it helps to be a cable network where expectations aren't so high.

The only thing I ever watched on there was Scare Tactics because it was the best. ;D

Only the pilot episode is up currently on Hulu. James has a role as a terrorist in the first season, as a recurring role. New episodes of Caprica are posted the Wednesday after the live airing.

Which is exactly why I need to start watching the show live. I keep forgetting about it... which I guess is to be expected, since I'm a BSG virgin. Will pop that cherry at some point... On an unrelated tangent, after being disappointed about not being able to watch Caprica last night, I hunkered down to watch the second ep of the Steven DeKnight-involved (I'm pretty sure he writes for the show) Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Two words: full-frontal. 'Nuff said. And I recognized Haldir from the LotR movies! Who apparently also plays Darken Rahl in Sam Raimi's Legend of the Seeker. And there's Lucy Lawless, who, if memory serves me also had a stint on BSG. So we're back to the original tangent... some what.

I just watched the pilot episode. A BSG virgin myself, I really don't know what the heck, (the frack? am I using that word right?) is going on, but I suppose I'll keep watching. If not for James Marsters, for Eric Stoltz... when did he get so yummy? Sorry, my tangent

I think it's "frak". Just to keep it consistently four-lettered. Just saw the preview for the third ep, and I'm pretty sure that the guy who played Joel Minor on Dollhouse is in it.

It's "frak". The show is only loosely tied to BSG by virtue of the fact that they take place in the same universe. But Caprica is set 58 years before the events of BSG, so you don't need to have seen BSG to enjoy Caprica. And Lucy Lawless has much more than a "stint"... but you'll find out when you watch. (And Spartacus is really good, violence and sex aside. I really like it.)
