This sounds to good to wait, I might just pick it up when I pick up the new hardcover at the end of the week.... also will this be in the same hardcover as the Dru 2 part? Yep, the 6th HC will most likely have issues #23-27, or Brian's final issues. Could even have the Annual in it too, if IDW is feeling zany. I hope they make it the 5th hardcover and give Aftermath it's own "non numbered edition"!

I think AFTERMATH will have the number "5" on it.

I'm not a fan of continuing the numbering. I won't be buying any after 4 now cause there is no chance I'm getting 5 and I'd hate the gap lol

You should definitely buy "6"!

^ lol nah I like writers who remember their own continuity (wooooop, burn), but less of the numbering would be nice.
Don't think I'll bother with HC 6 mr Lynch, I already have the Gunn issue - the fancy blank cover one in fact (Yay more Runge-ness to enjoy), and
....
... Dru bores me *braces for fan retaliation*

But the next two issues will make it aaaaaaall worthwhile! PLUS the Annual, I think! I think...don't quote me.
And the DRUSILLA issues are anything but boring, trust-you-me.

Oooh you do tempt me.
[Off Topic] Shadow Puppets man... awesome. And Urru is a legend. That panel of puppet Spike and Lorne laughing at puppet George.... Makes me laugh every time I see it.

Sweet. Great to hear. I finally got issue 23 today and I enjoyed it. I think it's a great return to the series following the horrible Aftermath and I'm eagerly looking forward to the Drusilla issues. Did a great job on this one, Brian

I've now read #23, and I gotta say - LOVE IT. Pairing Illyria with different Angel characters seems to always mean good stories, and this was no different. And Gunn, ohh Gunn... still trying to make up for his part in Fred's death. He's really taken on a life of his own in the comics. (Gunn spin-off? Ohhh don't I dare say it! ) I still want Urru to marry me after his double-page spread in After the Fall #1, by the way, and this art continues the marriage proposals. Pleeeaaaase?

Just read Become What You Are (I know, I'm late to the game on this one) and I really enjoyed it. The scenes between Gun and Illyria were absolute genius. I loved the small cameo appearances of Anna, Marv, and I think Beck (the woman sitting across from Marv in the cafeteria) at the Mosaic Wellness Center and even the T-Rex 'Lenny' with his funny dialogue. It was great seeing Non again, I'm glad she wasn't killed off...yet. I absolutely love how Brian Lynch handles the characters. And Franco Urru, his artwork is brilliant. A great ending to After The Fall series.
