Do we know if the last three issues(By Brian) of Aftermath will be in a TPB, or HC by themselves?
Thanks. ;D

I don't think they are related to Aftermath in any way, so I guess it's safe to assume they will be in their own.

Since it is most likely that Angel #26+ won't be written by Brian, the 6th HC Vol. will most likely be just #23, #24 and #25, and they aren't a part of Aftermath. Since Brian and Franco will be moving to the Spike On-going series, Angel #26+ will kick off a new writing and art team and new arc, so the 6th HC should just be his three issues.

Hopefully, 23-25 can be put together with a few more issues. A HC for 3 issues is too slim for me.
But if issue 26+ becomes a long arc, I guess there's nothing to do.

I'm not sure I even want to keep buying hardcovers for the ongoing series. They are very pretty looking, but they're expensive. After The Fall was something special, it was a mini-series that told a complete (and pretty epic) story. It was the first undisputadly canon adventure our heroes have seen since the show left TV. I can understand IDW giving ATF the special treatment.
But as much as I'd like to own everything as a hardcover... I don't think my wallet would allow me to get more hardcovers, especially if I'm buying the individual issues as well. If we're getting more hardcovers I hope we get the option of Trade-Paperbacks as well.

I think there will be a hardcover collecting The Gunn story, the Drusilla story, and then the following two issues.

Maybe that means issues #26-27 will be character pieces, similar to Gunn and Dru's? Lorne and Illyria perhaps? I know Brian can't tell us, but it is fun to think about what is coming next.

That is interesting. I really hope they are character pieces, it'd fit well with the other three issues. It'd be awesome if there was a Lorne issue, we didn't see enough of him in After the Fall.

Has there been any more news about this?
Which cover would people like to see used for this collection? It's hard to pick one that's generic enough to suit all the stories. It'd be nice to see a totally new cover, like the First Night HC.

I'd like a painted cover of Angel flanked by Gunn and Drusilla, since they're the most prominent characters in the stories.

Still no news about when this is coming out, only that it won't be before April since we haven't seen a solicitation yet.
I have a feeling Runge's cover for #23 will be used, but I'm always for new covers.

It'll probably be one of the covers with Angel and Spike. They're the most marketable characters. Gunn probably won't be the only dude on the cover, because only one chapter is about him. Either #27 cover seems likely.

Both covers for #27 would work really well. Mooney's would especially look great, with the bold red. Although that could clash with the spine-back cover design that IDW usually uses, unless they make the design more red-ish. They went with a more blue-ish design for the Vol. 4 HC, as opposed to the brown-ish design from Vol. 1-3, so anything is possible.

True, and they also switched to a more gold color for SPIKE: AtF and Volume Three, so it's possible.

Do we know for sure that Last Angel In Hell won't be included?

Yeah I think Brian has said that it'll just be an issue to make it more special.

Yeah nothing official either way, just what Brian said a while ago.
