I just saw this on E-bay and thought it was fantastic. That's an amazing custom.

Meanwhile, Ethan drove through Sunnydale with a wide grin on his face. Two wonderful things were going to happen today. Known errotomaniac Alexus McBriddle was out of his hair, very likely to find someone else to annoy. More importantly, he was going to spend time with his absolute favorite person in the world (to annoy), Rupert Giles.

"Polygamy is great!" shouted Joyce summers, standing in a row that also featured the jedi ghost of Jenny Calendar and Olivia, all of whom were dressed in white, clearly one groom short of a bizarre wedding.

"Soon, Rupert Giles, I will find and kill those your heart desires," she said, popping an anti depressant pill into her fat mouth.

It had always been her greatest fear that the caterers would come for Ripper, as they had come for many of her other former lovers over the years, and she was determined that Rupert Giles would not marry another woman.

She would never have known about Ripper's life in Sunnydale, had she not been in the wrong shady southside pub only a week before, with her recent boyfriend Ethan Rayne.

Very interesting. I love the way you tie this alternate time line to the cannon.

I like to discuss fan fics almost as much as I like to read them, so I thought I'd see if I could start a convo going.
What do you like in a fan fic? Why do you read them, what are you looking for?
I enjoy fics that:
1.) Make me think I'm watching the show. Suck me in. 2.) Make me feel emotions, regardless of which ones. Make me laugh or cry, and I'll remember you longer than when you just keep the customers satisfied. 3.) Take me out of my comfort zone. I want to be introduced to sides of characters that maybe I don't like. I want bad things to happen to good people. I want to see something about me in the bad guys, I want an unhappy ending every once in a while. 4.) Show me a new side of a situation. I don't care how many times I've read the "so and so is a vampire" fic, what matters is how that changes things for the characters and the story as a whole. If I feel like I've read it before, I stop, but if it still feels new then I know I've struck gold.
I don't enjoy fics that:
1.) Recycle plots. 2.) Totally disregard Joss's work. 3.) Are severely OOC. 4.) Bash characters. I've read way too many fics where Buffy gets an extreme powning from everyone she knows and loves.
I like every genre of fic. When I'm in the mood for romance I'll read slash or het. I don't look for ships, I just browse and when I find something interesting I read it. When I'm in the mood for a good comedy I'll search for something obscure. When I'm in the mood for drama I look especially hard at Xander related material.
I love to read about Xander, Andrew, Angel, Spike, Illyria, Drusilla, and Oz, but I also like to read about Tara, Willow, Cordelia, and Lorne.
How 'bout y'all?

I didn't like the first episode (it's the only episode I've seen) but who knows, the series may develop nicely.

I saw it! I'd already read the things she talked about though. It was a bit disappointing, they acted like they had a big scoop and all they did was repeat what we already had heard about from other interviews. They didn't ask the right questions, which is always the key.

Has anyone emailed Dark Horse and asked them about season 8 figures?

I do kind of agree. Of all the DST figures I have, I still have yet to purchase Buffy herself. If they made a new one, I think I'd be more tempted to purchase one.

What about a deluxe Illyria figure? It doesn't make sense to make an Illyria figure that doesn't take advantage of all those points of articulation. Or maybe a battle damaged Illyria, like from Not Fade Away.
Another thing they could do is two packs of fallen friends and someone who loved them. A Joyce in her outfit from the Body and a Buffy from that episode. A Willow and a Tara from Seeing Red. Fred on a Shells Illyria body packaged with a Wesley figure. The list could go on.

I want to cry. I absolutely need Wild at Heart Oz, Tough Love Willow, and all those Drus.
