A possible 17th issue of After the Fall is VERY exciting! It sounds like the First Night HC will have many extras (like the issue 1-5 HC did), any plans to keep that going and have a bunch of extras in the 3rd HC? I hope so, time permitting. The FIRST NIGHT ones are really cool, methinks.

Oh I think they can do better than me. Your modesty is both admirable and unconvincing Okay -- a similar question was asked of Scott Allie, because it reflects on how much longer it takes to unfold a comic story than a televised one. Has fan response affected the actual story? Even if you can't say what, have you and/or Joss changed your mind, gone farther or less far with a subplot based on fan reaction? (I think you probably have seen more heat on "that can't happen!" type complaints than Season 8 has, because of the very impactful Fred/Illyria storylines and Angel being -- at least at the moment -- human)

Brian, what's your favourite comic: everybody's dead, Angel: ATF or Spike ATF? why? (I love all of them)

That is a funny story. You should have signed them all "Stan Lee".

Damn my spoiler-ridden question! I hope it's alright if I ask another then. I really love how you write for both Fred and Illyria, but which character do you prefer writing dialogue for?

He's the best! Drew Goddard! Isn't Gail Simone doing it? These people all kick sand in my face. Plus, does Scott Allie know who I am? Probably not. And I'm tired, Hoss. So very tired. Between finishing up my run on ANGEL:ATF and prepping the ANGEL VS. BETA ETA DELTA series, my Whedon dance card is full for a while. Okay, as for your question, the only thing I can think of in terms of changing to please the audience is the fact that we changed Spike's ladies' outfits quicker than we were going to. Their reveal was going to be in issue 9, but we gave them the armor and whatnot in issue 4. Plus, I think Spider shrunk a few bra sizes, no? I could be wrong. Oh, now that I think about it, there is another plotline that was pulled because we thought people would take it the wrong way, but it's a good one, so I may save it for later. I think Joss should hunt down Geoff Johns and ask him to do it. He's my favorite.

I would say EVERYBODY'S DEAD is really personal, but the ATFs are a big accomplishment, you know? Like, when it's done, flaws and all, I will have accomplished something pretty big.

I meant to say Johns should join the BUFFY staff and do an arc.

In "First Night Part 2," Kate makes a brief appearance and in it she's planning on using this bomb, which looked kind of big, to blow up the demon army. Since we haven't seen Kate since, is it safe to assume she sacrificed herself in doing so? Or is she still running around somewhere?

Good question, I enjoy them both (really loved writing Fred's stuff in issue 2 of SPIKE:ATF) and I really struggled with Illyria in ANGEL:ATF # 2 and 3, but now I really enjoy her. So I'd say both. Terrible answer, I know.

I said that last part like Shatner. Also, thought now would be a good time to point out I was kidding about the ANGEL VS. BETA ETA DELTA series.

Betta George is in both, and he seems to know people that are similar to people from ASYLUM, but that's not to say Spike does, or that ASYLUM happened. I'm the wrong person to ask, sorry.

Here's a non-spoilery question:
Do you think Tok Shinobu would join the cause of Twilight considering what happened to her father?

First, is Urru coming back to Angel after he finishes his work on Spike?
Second, I TOTALLY was pissed when Spike didn't realize who it was. The dragon wanted him to help him! That was cute in a dragon-ish sort of way.
The second part turned out to not be a question. Oh well. Spike is just dumb sometimes, even though he's awesome.

MAN: I'm just trying to give you some constructive criticism. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THAT is classic right there, son. Like, whoa, so classic-y that it belongs in like...one of those Big John's Bathroom Readers or sommat like that.
Anywho, my question is this: If you had to change Spike's hair color to anything BUT the bleach blonde or his original brown/sandy blonde, what color would it be and why?
