Not sure if you are still answering here Brian...but if you are here is a question.
I think there is a little bit of unease (just a little:)) amongst the fandom at the moment about continuity. With various writers working on the main Angel line, then spin-off tales like 'Only Human' and your good self working on the Spike tale... I think people would like to know who is the "Showrunner' for lack of a better term.
Who is plotting out the direction the story is going to take - and keeping all the writers in check and making sure nobody is contradicting each other.
Joss is obviously the Big Kahuna on Buffy....who is the equivalent for Angel?Or is there one?
Thanks!

I am guessing that is a monumental understatement:) Exactly, that's why they complained throughout about how much this little jaunt to hell cost them.

I hand in my stuff to an editor, Chris Ryall, who hands it into Fox. I hear from either of them if I did something outta whack.

I understand. I guess we need to stop thinking of the comics like a TV show. I do hope that we get a long story like After the Fall again though- the short arcs are great once they are leading somewhere...but I do love the long storylines:)

Would you ever think about doing something with those cyborgs from season five that were never explained?

This is me just pontificating, but I firmly believe it will go in that direction. I can say that the SPIKE series will be a bit of both. Smaller stories that build to a bigger story. I think a great, great example of this done brilliantly is ALL-STAR SUPERMAN. I'd advise everyone to check it out, it's heartbreaking and wonderful and uplifting and funny and full of adventure and romance.

Hey Brian, I'm wondering if there's gonna be more Spike & Illyria hook-ups or is that a lil too spoilerish? Thanks

Did I understand Non right... she killed all the "Spikettes" and used their life forces to heal Gunn? Did she kill Spider too?
Because if so, I must officially hate Non.

How far along in writing After The Fall did you conceive of this Gunn/Illyria epilogue or did you come up with the story well after finishing After The Fall?
Also I have to ask, since you've written Spike and Angel so much, have you read and what did you think of Joss Whedon's and Jo Chen's Buffy web comic featuring Buffy "meeting up" with Angel and Spike that went online today?

Is there anything you can tell us about #26 and #27? Or is that being kept locked tight until Comic Con? Is it After the Fall related, post-Aftermath, a jumping off point for the new writer/artist, special issues like the Epilogue/Dru issues? Anything? Thanks!

Since the first part of the Drusilla issue was solicited for August but is coming out this month, does that mean we'll be Angel-less for the month of August? Or are all the titles getting bumped up a month?

Thanks for another amazing issue Brian!
Are there any details you can reveal about the upcoming annual, Last Angel in Hell? Besides the fact that it already looks awesome.

I always had the idea for this issue as soon as Non entered the storyline in SPIKE:AFTER THE FALL, but I didn't think I'd ever tell the story because I was done once ATF ended. But then I saw the panel of Gunn driving around in a car a month after he was in his near-death coma and the ideas for how to make that work started coming so I asked Chris Ryall if I could tell the story. I haven't seen the web comic, no.
