Ebay! There were quite a few of them on there. I got it for $24.99 including shipping. The guy took forever to send it but I have it now.

I'm getting one for free but its not for me its for my trivia contests at SaveAngel.org. Guess I can't advertise it now as "rare" prize for the contests.

Gotte be more than a few. There's no way my comic shop got one if it was only a few. They've only been open 9 months. And while they do order a boatful of Buffy because of all their pre-orderers, I still can't believe there are only a few. I will still say the prize is rare but watch me get some arguments. LOL

I read that there were something like 4000 of them. My comic shop got one...I saw it and asked him how much the HC was and he told me it was not for sale because it was a gift to stores that support Dark Horse and the Buffy Line.
So I got on eBay that night and typed it in and like 10 of them popped up. Some crazy Buy It Now prices too. I just bid on the next one that had no bids and I won it.
I just did a quick search and 3 came up. One is a BIN for only $24.99 with $4 shipping.

Yeah, the store only thing is what I was told by Billy at my shop and I was shocked to see TFAW had some they were selling.

From what I know, TFAW is owned by Dark Horse so that might be why they have some to sell.

Hey, noch jemand aus Deutschland . Herzlich Willkommen! And yes, I love the TPB to pieces... I like the fact that there are no commercials. Can't wait for the No Future For You TPB!

Finally got this in on interlibrary loan. Up until yesterday I had only read issues two and three. Initially I was not too enamored at the start from the two issues.
On a whole The Longway Home is an excellent opening arc, and Season Eight looks like one of the better tie-in comics I've read.
Much like Fray you can tell the greater quality difference when the creators of the franchise work on the tie-ins. Outside of Fray, Tales of the Slayer, the puppet Spike comic, and a few scattered novels I haven't had a lot of experience with Buffyverse EU. I enjoyed Whedon using only four issues instead of the typical six issue writing for trade standard so common in the comic world. It was nice seeing the characters back, and I had no problem hearing the characters' voices in my heads.
The only thing I'm sorta meh on is the art. In tie-in comics I'm really big on them looking like the actors. Dawn in particular looked nothing like Dawn in the series. On the other hand the covers are amazing.
I liked the one shot. Not an earth shattering one issue, but it was fun enough.
I really enjoyed this first collection as a whole. It will not replace the show, but save any of the TV movies are ever made this is the next best thing.
