I was talking with one of my roommates last night who has seen a couple of episodes of Dollhouse, and as she is a huge fan of greek mythology, she absolutely loved it how dolls in Washington were named after the Greek Pantheon.
So if we're to stick to the idea that every house has a different naming method of their dolls, what do you think would be some cool conventions?
Here are some of my ideas:
My roommates I previously mentioned thought names from Shakespeare plays would be a good method. I thought that would be pretty neat. Ex. Macbeth, Ophelia, or, for awesome Whedon-y goodness, Cordelia.
I think another interesting way would be gemstones or something akin to that, like they could be named: Amethyst, Onyx, Ruby etc. etc.
Got any ideas?

The Buffy/Angel house Maybe color names. Violet, Burgundy, Lavender...etc. Maybe one with historical figure names. Washington, Kennedy, Michelangelo...etc.

Apollo was used, I'm pretty sure.

^ Apollo was definitely used, as was Hades and I think Cassandra. Not sure about that one. I know it was a C, though!

Haha, never even thought of that. All of his/her engagements would never work out if you ever mentioned their name.

Interesting thread... Apollo was used, I'm pretty sure. ETA: Wonder what November's new name would be... Racking my name for mythology names... Nike maybe? Although sneaker-Nike might not like this. I can imagine there may be licensing issues even if they're not talking about sneakers.
