I wish I was a drawer. I only do abstract drawings atbest. I'm just am gifted at designing with PSP programs and so forth.

I love your idea EWR, The only reason I didn't do this pen pal thing is because there are alot of imature people on here that I don't want to have my address.
Also we have alot of younger members that may not have permision from their parents to give out their home address. From a parent's point of view "Why is this website asking for my child's address. A pen-pal, cute idea in theory but in these times... really..."

Good members shouldn't be based on if they trust the other members with personal information. Good members are ones without warning levels, ones that make great meaningfull posts. The ones that stick around and help the other members, not fight with them.

I'm a snail-mail kinda girl, myself. PMs and emails are fun, but sending things through the post is just neat and personal. maybe you guys should make a thread for people who wanted to pen-pal through email and PMs?
in here, you don't give out your address until you've got your partner, so if it made you uncomfortable, you could've likely switched with someone. I understand being uneasy about giving out your address, but I think if someone is they should pen-pal in a different way(which would probably be better placed in another thread).

Just my bit of input.

What EWR and Miss Rogueh were suggesting is that your pen pals program be extended to PMs or e-mails as well. It's nifty to get stuff in the mail, that much is true. But for the people who aren't as comfortable giving out their home address, extending your program will actually allow them to participate as well, thus boosting the popularity of what you started. We like to think that the forum is a safe place, but that's not something that we can vouch for. The Mods do their best when it comes to policing threads and discussions, but we're under no illusion that the internet is hard to police, and that most of our members are "faceless".

Freedom of speech is fine and dandy, but you're also bound to the rules of this forum. Bear that in mind. Having a "good post" is great, but it doesn't exclude you from having to fall in line with our rules. I'm sorry you don't agree with the warning meter, but it has been deemed appropriate due to your constant flouting of the forum rules, and the Moderators' authority.
You've been warned many times, and we have records.

I don't find a discussion of the program policy to be out of line. In fact, since you started the thread, I would think you would welcome suggestions on how to possibly improve what you started. And no, you DO NOT get to tell people to remove their posts because you don't like it.
As for "trashing other people's threads with irrelevant issues", I think you should probably take a look in a mirror before calling the kettle black.

You're currently on probation, if you didn't already figure that one out. I'd advise against being rude to other members. For the matter, that's a reminder for everyone to remain civil. I have no patience for snotty brats, as I expect everyone here to be mature and responsible. With that, I leave you all to your fun. It's nice to know that some SlayAlivers are getting to know their peers better, and building connections.

Sounds like a good idea for people that arent confident with adress swapping like you said.
But people that aren't bothered by it then stay doing this pen pals.

I just got mine today from Natalie! (Orb Of Thesula)!
IT'S AMAZING!
there was so much art (her cartoons are SO CUTE and even cuter in person! ) and fantastic things, and it came right after my birthday so it was a wonderful present and it cheered me up so much after a hard week.

It's beyond fantastic , i love the little Gordo & Stake handmade christmas decs.
And the drawings of Angel are like undescribabley good.
And i love the other little bits too. Was such a nice thing to recieve i love it cheered me up.
And the David Boreanaz biography <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 i actually screamed haha.
