Zomg, Buffylover I just saw your comment saying you through Infamous sucked, you're slightly dead to me now! Thats unfair, its my opinion. I didn't like the control system, the graphics were appalling. The storyline was crap!!. The game play was glitch and annoying. But i did complete it to get the trophies. But its unfair to say i am dead too you because i expressed my own personal opinion. Infamous wasn't the best exclusive. I don't think there's any reason to get excited. I'm pretty sure EWR was just kidding around with you. :P

BEST FLASH GAME EVER:
Super Mario Crossover I apologise BuffyLover, I must have missed a smiley or something to signify I was being sarcastic. Anyways. I do have a Wii as well.... Games I play; - Infamous - Devil May Cry - Soulcalibur - Prince of Persia - Assassin's Creed (1&2) - Uncharted Pretty much that sort of game. I have such a huge obsession with Metroid, so I really recommend that series. Pretty much all of the games have been ported to the Wii by now. Do you like God of War? If you're into sandbox style games, like Infamous, you might like Crackdown, one of my favorites on the 360. I bought it new for $8 about ten months ago, so it's pretty cheap.

Okay will look it up! I'm looking for games to last me over summer! Ha, 3 months off will kill me if I have nothing to do bar read and go to the beach. I never really enjoyed Metroid. I'm not sure why, use to have it on my old 64 and then the cube. You must be a bit confused, because there was never a Metroid title on the N64. It makes me a bit sad you don't enjoy it, though. The first Prime is so good! Also, you said you were into PoP, but which ones do you like? I know a lot of people didn't like the reboot, but I recently got around to playing through it and I liked it. It's certainly a lot different the Sands of Time series, but I still liked it.

Guitar Hero: Red Hot Chili Peppers is rumored to be in development.
This is why I no longer give a damn about the rhythm genre. :/

Guitar Hero went downhill right after GH2 and GH3. Rock Band is where it's at. Harmonix just gets it right.

That's how I felt, but recently, my faith in RB/Harmonix has also waned. With the advent of downloadable songs and all three current-generation consoles supporting it, all these sequels and spin-offs are not only unnecessary, but off-putting. I'd be perfectly happy if GH6 and RB3 didn't come out until the 8th generation with nothing but DLC in between now and then.

There's that new Halo beta soon. Anyone checking that out? Think you get access if you bought ODST.
I'm getting a little bored of games... well paying for it really. Microsoft are taking the piss a bit with their online charges. I pay about £40 a year for the service, and then have to pay for all the dlc's as well. That's pretty harsh as PC gamers don't have to pay for either in most cases. Whats more, the last dlc I paid for cost 580 points - reasonable I guess, except you have to buy the points in 500s. It's about time they revised their price scheme, Sony are showing them up. /endrant

Guess I'm kinda excited about the new Prince of Persia coming out this month. As long as it's not lousy, I guess I'll enjoy it. Being able to freeze water to make columns/bars/etc sounds pretty cool. Started the first God of War over... I never finished it on the PS2, so I bought the combo pack thing for the PS3. Currently still running around Athens... looking for a priestess or something of that sort. Pretty sure this is the damsel in distress bit that's kinda like a timed mini-game; i.e. make the save in time, or be doomed to restart the damn sequence over and over. So far, the "puzzles" have been absurdly easy, and from what I remember, most of the puzzles are ridiculously mindless... which is my big gripe with the game, since I enjoy solving puzzles more than dispatching legions of enemies.

I keep going back and forth on the new PoP. I think I'm just going to wait until a few reviews start coming out to make a decision.
Right now I'm hopping on the 360 to start a new game of Crackdown.

I keep going back and forth on the new PoP. I think I'm just going to wait until a few reviews start coming out to make a decision. As long as they retain most of the gameplay mechanics of the "Sands of Time" trilogy, I think it'll be pretty good. The thing I hated the most about the latest incarnation was that the platforming was WAAAAAY too easy. I want to have to hold the wall-run button and have to release it and press jump at absolutely the right time. Not have it all practically done for me.

The thing that looks the worst about the new PoP is the upgraded combat, as seen in the newest trailer. The best thing about the series is the platforming, so, as far as I'm concerned, they should be adding to and refining that. Also, the Prince's face seems to have gotten even uglier. And you're right that PoP '08 was really easy, but I kind of enjoyed it in a laid back kind of way. EDIT: Speaking of the 2008 Prince of Persia, the game's DLC, titled "Epilogue" had a price reduction today to $5, down from $10. I bought it last week. :/

Hmmm... I've been thinking of buying that DLC... what better reason than a price cut?

Hmmm... I've been thinking of buying that DLC... what better reason than a price cut? I actually don't care too much for what I've played of it so far. Throughout the main game, my favorite part was exploring the relatively open environment and find and collecting light seeds. The DLC is more linear and doesn't have any light seeds. Don't let me totally defer you, though. That's just what I don't like about it and I haven't finished it yet. I just bought the first Mass Effect on Amazon. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get here because I'm pretty excited for it. In the meantime, I'm really enjoying my replay of Crackdown, a ridiculously fun game. I also have that PoP DLC to get back to and I'm playing The Two Thrones too. I really shouldn't try to play too many games at the same time. I always forget about one and end up starting a new file a few weeks later.

I finally decided on preordering The Forgotten Sands. Let's hope I don't regret the decision. Also, if anyone else is preordering on Amazon.com, use the code "popersia" for $5 off.
