There's no game I'm looking forward to more than Star Wars: The Old Republic. I have little doubt it will be amazing. Any news or tidbits that are released just elevate my excitement even more. Next Spring can't come soon enough.

I hope this won't be the last cinematic trailer released (at least until they work on expansions), as they truly are incredible (and I'd like one that features all 8 classes instead of 2-3).

What a terrible time to have my computer break on me. :/ What I've gotten to read, though, has gotten me a lot more excited for move than I thought I ever would be, but I'm still not totally convinced. The Sly Collection was a bit of a surprise, but I was hoping for some other PS2-on-PS3 collections. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus or the first two or three Racthet & Clank games would have been awesome.

I didn't really get a chance to read much about Nintendo's conference. I should try to, because I'm a little intrigued by the 3DS.

As for Microsoft... Nothing really exciting. Kinect is a terrible name.

Why is everyone not liking the kinect.
Give it time in a year or two kinect will show its potential. Like when the PS3 was released the games were terrible the graphics's were like PS2 graphics and their were no trophies, and now look its an awesome console. I am not judging Natal just yet.

And Star Wars: The Old Republic looks amazing. That trailer was so ace. I loved Star Wars Galaxies, but I could never stay with it for more then a few months at a time. It always got boring after a while, IMO.

Formly known as "Project Natal", Kinect is an Xbox 360 accessory revealed at last year's E3 and due out by the end of this year. The device uses cameras (I'm pretty sure it has two) to detect the movements of the user. This allows menus to be navigated and games to be played without the use of a controller. The reason why I'm not hyped up about Kinect is the games. None of the revealed launch titles really interest me. Move's launch titles are fantastic looking, but in whole, I think Sony has a better list than Microsoft.

My copy of inFamous that I bought with those Amazon promo codes I had arrived yesterday. I stayed up all night playing it and it's pretty fun, but not fantastic or anything. I think I'm just under half way done.

Well, I'll try to keep an open mind. I'm just saying; I'm not too excited at the moment.

I think what people are saying right now is that they were less than impressed by Kinect's showing, versus the PS Move. The negative response has nothing to do with potential as much as it has to do with what that potential is being used for at the moment. And currently, it sounds like the stuff coming out for Kinect is less than awe-inspiring. And it shouldn't be, considering it's another huge step towards a more integrated gaming experience.

But it doesn't work well yet. IMO, for games, you just need a controller. Why wave your hand over a "button" for 3 seconds to activate it, when you could just press a button on a controller in less than a second?

Right now it's just way too gimmicky. In a year or two they could turn into something special, but who knows with Microsoft.

Yeah Nintendo had the best showing. The 3DS looks amazing and I have not one, but two retro revivals with Donkey Kong Country Returns and Kirby's Epic Yarn to look forward too (and Zelda of course).

Nintendo pulled out all the stops, Sony was their usual stoic self (with the Marcus PSP ad campaign being an unintentionally hilarious exception). Microsoft... bleh. My interest in Kinect is zero. Their conference would have benefited from another appearance by Felicia Day.

Also, way too many good games coming out to name. Epic Mickey looks AWESOME. <3

I guess I'm somewhat of a Nintendo fan. I mostly just like Mario and Metroid. Kirby's Epic Yarn looks pretty good and I'm still super excited for Other M.
