I love how part of the pictures look photorealistic, while other parts are more, for the lack of a better word, "sloppy" and cleary painted. You have a certain style. How long does a painting usually take to make? And which ones are oil and which are pencils? I can't tell on all of them. I'm glad you like it. I like to put a lot of focus on certain parts/features, so I let the rest just fade out. Depending upon the size of the painting, I can spend anywhere between 3 or 4 hours (for a sketchcard) or a few weeks of work for an 8x10. I actually use both oil pastels and pencils together in most of my stuff. but, the first piece of buffy and buffy in the wedding dress were done with pencils only.

I absolutely adore your drawings. And I love the ones I have of yours, especially the Faith one. But out of the others I particularly love the wedding Buffy one. That one is very beautiful.

Aw, thank you so much! I'm really glad I had the opportunity to make you those pieces. The wedding one is one of my favorites too. I was really obsessive with getting it right. Funny story- my mom asked what I was doing and I replied "working on sarah michelle gellar's cleavage..." haha XD

The one with Buffy and the green background the facial features are so dead on. It looked like a picture and as if she was staring at me. Creepy. Also love the one with Willow and the one beneath with Tara. You also did very good with detail in both pictures. Awesome job.

Awesome job. thank you so much! the Buffy one you mentioned I was obsessive with. it was a birthday present for a friend. so, I shaded that puppy like no body's business, to make her look real. I'm glad you like the others as well!

Love your new Claire/Topher piece. Likenesses are great, as usual. I'd love to see you capture the scene where Whiskey supposably dies from the gas, in Epitaph One. ^.^ I think you could do it beautifully. (This is just me wanting more things of that scene, because I'm addicted to it. ).

I have a ton of commissions to work on for the next few months, but I'd LOVE to do that scene sometime. Can't say when I'll be able to, but I'll definitely add it to my list. I adore that scene.

Bluhhh, pastels are SO hard to work with, so I'm like...quadruple-y impressed with how awesome these are. I particularly like the Mellie one and the ones of Topher, and also Giles in his sombrero. <3
Also! "My Boy Builds Coffins" = Florence + the Machine? I love herrrr, agghhhh. <3
