So what was your fav. emotional moment on Buffy? Just a few of mine would be Buffy's last conversation with dawn in The Gift. Buffy's speech in Bring on the Night and Xanders Talk with Dawn in Potential . There are plenty more but those are just a few I enjoyed.

This is a really hard choice, but I'm gonna make an attempt. hehe
The ones that make me happy: -Xander saving Willow(and the world) in Grave -Xander telling Anya he loves her after Riley leaves because he wants to make sure she knows -Buffy telling Dawn that she doesn't want to hide her from the world, she wants to show it to her -Buffy realizing that Giles is like her father at the end of Helpless
The ones that get to me but make me sad: -Buffy finding her mother's body -Buffy crying in Innocence over Angel -Buffy and Angelus kissing in I Only Have Eyes For You -Xander leaving Anya at the altar

The body when she says , " BUFFY: Mom! Mom! Mom Mom Mom-", She repeats the word many times and then shouts it in Joyce's face, getting no reaction, makes me emotional.

-When Joyce finds Buffy's note at the end of "Becoming, Part 2" and she just crumples. That moment gets me every time. -When Giles finds Jenny's body and the subsequent phone call to Buffy's house.
EDIT: - Also when Jonathan's "Class Protector" speech to Buffy in "The Prom". It makes me tear up with joy.
There are tons that make me cry. I find that most of my favourite emotional moments in Buffy are ones that make me cry.

The ones that make me happy - Buffy and Angel at the Prom Xander's talk with Dawn in 'Potential' Where Buffy and Willow meditate at the end of 'Same time, Same place'
One's which make me sad/cry - Anya's "I dont understand speach" in 'the body'. I weep like a baby every time I watch this Where Anya has to walk down the aisle after Xander dumped her in 'Hells Bells' The end song of 'Tabula Rasa' Where Tara leaves Willow.

When Willow breaks down into tears at the end of 'Wrecked' after Dawn slaps her and when Buffy finds out Giles has been injecting her in 'Helpless'.

These are the scenes that make me tear up...
- Spike telling Buffy she's the one, and the night they spend together, just holding each other. - The end of Tabula Rasa with the Michelle Branch song playing. - Xander's yellow crayon speech. - The last scene between Buffy & Dawn in The Gift. - Xander's talk with Dawn in Potential.

The "class protector" scene in "The Prom" and the death scene in "The Gift" still get me, even after many viewings. Closely followed by Willow worrying about what to wear in "The Body," Dawn and Buffy on the tower in "Bargaining," the end of "Grave," and Willow talking to Cassie/The First in "Conversations With Dead People."

In "New Moon Rising" and Willow doesn't know what to do (Choose Oz or Tara) and Tara strokes Willow's cheek and says "Do what makes you happy." It gets me every time! Also Anya's fruit punch speech is terribly sad.

Where Buffy and Willow meditate at the end of 'Same time, Same place' I love that scene! Definitely one of my favs. -The end of New Moon Rising with Willow and Tara and the extra-flamey candle. -In The Gift when Willow restores Tara's sanity and Tara saying she felt so lost and Willow saying she will always find her. -The end of Family with Willow and Tara on the dance floor floating. -In the end of Dead Things with Buffy crying in Tara's lap and Tara comforting her. -Willow's blue sweater speech in The Body and Tara comforting her. -Xander's crayon speech most of my favs are Willow and/or Tara-centric moments. ;D

I cryed when Buffy got stabbed in chosen because i thought she was going to die at the time , when i first watched it. But when the epic music came on and Buffy reaction to the first was superb best television ever.

Oh, so many to name! Anya's speech in The Body, Buffy stabbing Angel in Becoming Part II Buffy sitting in the car with Giles and on the couch with Joyce in Innocence Buffy and Willow in Prophecy Girl Spike's "You're the one" speech in Touched. Spike "can we rest now?" in Beneath You. Buffy jumping to her death in The Gift Letting the group know through song that she was in heaven in OMWF. Spike and Buffy in Chosen Xander and Willow in Grave Xander leaving Anya at the alter Buffy and Tara in Dead Things Willow and Oz in Wild at Heart. Her, "Don't you love me?" gets me every time! The exchange between Anya and Xander at the end of Selfless. Jenny's death Willow in Wrecked as she is pleading with Buffy for help - so hard to watch! The entirety of The Body and Forever pretty much make me an emotional wreck Chosen makes me emotional because it is the series finale. I know there are many I'm forgetting but these are just a few off the top of my head.

One that's not necessarily a tearjerker, but has always struck me as an emotionally rich moment, is the scene in "Bargaining" where Dawn goes into Buffy's room and rests her head on the Buffybot's shoulder. That one poignant image says more about Dawn's loneliness than any dialogue ever could.

That one poignant image says more about Dawn's loneliness than any dialogue ever could. I agree, that is a sad moment. Heartbreaking indeed. That scene really does a great job of emphasizing the aloneness and loss that Dawn feels at that point in her life and how she is really struggling with it.

When Willow flays Warren Mears. I was shocked and terrified. And we could see skinless Warren for what seemed like ages.
And even though I am not a Bangel-shipper: Buffy's "Close your eyes" in Becoming Part 2 and before that her "Me" after Angelus' terrifying speech when he asks her what she has left.

I didn't like the scene Get it done, when Chloe commits suicide actually manipulated by the first, because of Kennedy being a heartless women. CHLOE/FIRST "Nothing! We just talked all night. Well, I did most of the talking, but Chloe is...I'm sorry, was a good listener. 'Til she hanged herself. (to Kennedy) Like when you called her maggot—she really heard that." They've already been mentioned but I think that the two that get me most are:
The end of "Innocence" when Buffy is on the couch with Joyce. When Buffy says, "I think I'll just let it burn" and rests her head on Joyce's shoulder, I tear up every time. I just think how painful it must be for Joyce seeing her daughter so down on her birthday and wondering just what could have happened to her.
Buffy begging Tara not to forgive her in "Dead Things". SMG's anguish is just so palpable in this scene - I always end up curled into a ball by the end!
A couple that haven't been mentioned are:
When Spike approaches Buffy with the shotgun on the back steps of Buffy's house in "Fool for Love". His rage dissipates so rapidly upon seeing her tear-streaked face and the tender, tentative way in which he tries to softly comfort her draws a heart-felt "Awww" from me every time.
I always get upset when Buffy breaks down while doing the dishes in "Listening to Fear". She's been trying for so long to hold it all in and just can't anymore. Then she hears screams from upstairs and has to be strong once more.

When Buffy tells Dawn that Joyce is dead during the Body. We don't even need to hear what is being said, because the emotions and grief are more striking in the silence.
I have many more favorite emotional moments, but I don't currently have the patience to remember them all and write them down. Maybe later.
