I voted no; on the grounds that I already warmed up to her when rewatching season 7 lol

The answer to your poll is: No, I am not starting to warm up to Kennedy. I already like her.

Perhaps I'm jaded because of the extreme dislike I had of Kennedy in season seven, but I still don't think Kennedy's personality traits are right for Willow. Willow just seems so much more older and mature. I miss Tara. *sigh*

I just don't like her at all. Shes a snot nosed brat. And i think its too soon for Willow to be seeing some one again after Tara. I mean for a love so strong it should have took more then like 6 or so months for her to move on. It takes some people years when there fully in love with that person.

I'm finding it hard to get onboard with the idea that Willow loves Kennedy; for me, she was always a quick fling to get Willow back in the game, young and fun, but I never saw it as being a long term relationships. I always had the feeling that Kennedy was using Willow to advance her standing within the Slayer community, too. It bothers me how quickly she's allowed to hang with the core Scoobies, especially when it took Tara leaving Willow for Tara to really appreciate how important she was, especially to Buffy and Dawn.
I don't dislike Kennedy as a character, I just find it hard to believe in her relationship with Willow.
That said, it is very like Willow to give her all in a relationship, and I think Kennedy's immaturity brings out the maternal side of Willow; in a sense she's fulfilling Tara's role, with Kennedy playing a fiestier, though equally inexperienced version of Willow.
Thought for the day: maybe Kennedy betrays Buffy, Willow knows it's going to happen and that's why she's keeping Kennedy and Buffy separate.

And lying doesn't exist in the Buffyverse...? lol A betrayer could also be a liar, in fact it's fairly likely.
I have no idea though I'm not as far into the story as yous guys.

Mmm, no. Kennedy wouldn't attack Buffy. She wants to be closer to Buffy and the gang, it's Willow who's keeping them apart. Why is everybody think it's Willow who's going to betray her? She said flat out - no. I disagree if Kennedy really loves Willow then she should be able to see that she fears for her because of Buffy so maybe she would want to get rid of Buffy so Willow would not hide her. Willow didn't say the exact word of 'No' plus even if she did she could be lying.

As for Kennedy loving Willow...she didn't know that Willow was trying to protect her until Willow confessed it to her. So for all we know, Kennedy might be understanding now. And she wouldn't kill Buffy, because 1) Kennedy isn't a murderer and 2) it'd ruin her relationship with Willow and 3) Willow wouldn't allow it. How do we know Kennedy isnt a killer? I mean we don't know that much about her really. She could always go behind Willows back. Its not un-herd of. Kennedy is a spoiled snot nosed kid, I'm guessing she always got what she wanted back home and if not she would do what ever she could to get it. So whats to say she wouldn't betray Buffy to get what she wants. To be let into the light and not hidden by Willow?

I don't think it's a possibility. I think Joss is planning on bringing Kennedy into the group, not have her try to assassinate Buffy. I also don't know why you're calling her spoiled and snot nosed. Do you know something about her backstory that I don't? From what we've seen she's tough and she goes for what she wants without hesitation. I don't think that makes her snot nosed or spoiled. Shes clearly stated in the show that she always get whats she wants. She comes from a rich family [well so where lead to believe] Imo that makes some one Spoiled and all.

I don't think she's said she came from a rich family, or even eluded to that. Spoiled insinuates that someone has what they want handed to them. I don't get that impression with Kennedy. I think Kennedy is someone who GOES AFTER what she wants, and gets it for herself. That's the opposite of spoiled. She fights for what she wants. Like when she tried to get Willow. She stated about having different wings in her house and such which indicates shes rich..

I said yes because I always liked Kennedy anyway. (Don't hurt me lol) In The Long Way Home part 3, Willow tells Buffy that her and Kennedy are slowing things down a bit. And she also dismisses the Kennedy talk. This is now clear that they weren't slowing things down, but Willow just said that so that she could keep Buffy away from the woman she loves. Willow's found love again after Tara died and it's made her realize that she never wants to go through losing another loved one again. Kennedy may be the betrayer. It was good to see her again.

AND it was in the Hamptons...
I never hated Kennedy, but I've never loved her either. She was a strong bratty character who loved Willow. You can't even compare her to Tara, but she really cared about Willow and I liked her for that. I really love her last line in the finale too, "I can get used to this.."

OK to me it seems that everyone who thinks Kennedy is the betrayer is having wishful thinking. Kennedy is not even close to Buffy. Secondly she wouldn't risk it her Relationship with Willow. Third Kennedy is smart she knows that what Willow said about her not wanting to suffer because of Buffy is not really because its Buffy fault. I Think Kennedy understands this she is a slayer after all. And yea Kennedy is the younger one and maybe bratty but willow really seems to be in LOVE with Kennedy and i say this because she said it. When Buffy was like. "She still significant." Willow was like "Yea she really is." And then when she was telling Buffy about how she choose Buffy over Tara. Willow is all like "I cant do that again to the women I LOVE." Can i just state we are not in sunny dale anymore we are years after it. Dawn is in collage after all. I mean if Kennedy was a quick fling it might have last a couple of months not years. I mean all the evidence is there that Kennedy is there for the long run and maybe gonna be around the scoobygang more. I mean come on even Buffy says she liked Kennedy. Practically asking willow why Kennedy hasn't been around telling her it be cool if she was around. I just don't see why you guys keep going back to season 7 where their Relationship I don't think is at the same point it was back then.
Kennedy said she was a brat and got what she wanted. She also implied she was rich. Thou i don't think those qualities maker her any less worthy to be Willow girlfriend. Like she said she died for Willow come on that is true love. Yea she is not like Oz or Tara at all but why would we hold that against her it just seems terrible on our part because we want willow to be with someone who is exactly like Tara or Tara. Or mourn over her forever. I just don't see the point in that. From what i have seen in the comic book she is as good as anyone out there. So i am willing to stand up and defend her. I mean Tara died people need to get over it i mean unless they bring her back but doesn't look like its gonna happen and even if it did. Now there is love involved not only on Kennedy side but on Willows too. :vampirebite:

Now if Tara ever does get her glorious return from the dead, there will be much conflict. And, as we all know, Joss LOVES him some conflict. I'm picturing a big crazy love triangle thing with all sorts of fighting and angry. It'll be great.
