Well done everyone, this was such a fab game and I am so thrilled to have lasted as long as I did as a newbie!! I hope I was an ok seer given it was my first shot. I can't wait for the next one, although I tried to tell myself I wouldn't play again as I got way too into this and even woke in the night thinking about who may be wolves Courtney ~ I don't believe that I got my karma when I died either. As I am fairly new to the forum I tend to be super excited about getting new karma, so am sure I would have noticed 50 of them

Thanks Spikeluv for another great game! Maybe the wolves should not be divided in packs next time, or they could be divided in packs but not be able to kill each other?
I mean the wolves really need to win one of these games one of these days!

I think things were pretty fair. I mean look at how many people died. Only 3 villagers & 1 seer survived out of the 27 who started the game. The wolves really had a legitimate chance to win, they just had some really bad luck.

Had the wolves not been able to kill each other, it would have been a very close call in the end and the game would have been even more interesting. Whereas halfway through this game, we all understood that we the wolves had blown our chances.

Having played a wolf in the past...I remember not liking that we could accidentally kill fellow wolves. But it's not really unfair. Wolves could kill each other on "Buffy", and with spikeluv's new rules villagers were more likely to kill off a fellow villager than an actually wolf. It all just came down to bad luck and poor timing.

You got about three villagers for two wolves, both teams end up throwing a blind vote... except that villagers have four or five seers they can count on to search identities. Something the wolves don't have. If you do the math, the baddies just CANNOT possibly win.

I dunno, I think these rules make the game pretty fair. Remember we lost a wolf due to non-play, so technically, there should have been two wolves in this last round. Two wolves against that one seer.

It could have played out differently. The villagers could've killed off more of their seers and villagers and the wolves could've ended up not killing any fellow wolves. Luck plays a big part in it, so I'm okay with the rules right now.

Luck plays a big part in it, so I'm okay with the rules right now. You are only describing the best case scenario (for the wolves)... something very unlikely. Again, if you do the math, the chances for the baddies of winning were 25% versus 75% for the goodies.

In all honesty I think us wolves actually had a chance of winning this challenge. I surprisingly had good guesses on 1 wolf and 2 seers in this game. That's right Tabula Rasa and Whitecandy. I knew about you all along. Iceeh was the sneaky one I couldn't figure out. Anyway the last night round I was in I was going to reveal the information I had, but then I got killed by my own kind. So, yeah it would have been nice if wolves couldn't kill each other.;

Great game everyone! This was the best one we've had so far by my reckoning. I'm not sure, but I think that I agree with Mathieu. The wolves came pretty close to winning this one (shocking start for the good guys), but they lost again anyway. I do think that the length of the game goes against them a little, but am not sure how it could be improved. I mean, if the wolves couldn't kill one of their own, wouldn't they always get a good guy every night round? Since the good guys don't get that guarantee every day round, wouldn't that be a little unfair? Perhaps if they vote for a wolf, they get to find out that the votee was a wolf, but they don't get to kill anyone that round? That way, the night round becomes either a chance for the wolves to kill a good guy, or a chance to definitively find one of their own, while providing a reprieve for the goodies? What do you guys think? In general, I'd be in favour of playing a game with a little more power given to the bad guys, even experimentally. If they win by miles, well shucks, they deserve a break!

So I made sure to pay extra close attention to the people who were voting for them or first to vote for them. And of course watched who all was voting together. I actually knew about Tabula Rasa before you though.
