On the magazine-esque cover for #17, there's a pic of Spike and Spider all broke up with the caption "Spike to Spider Lady: It's Over, Love!" I don't recall ever reading any scene like that in the actual issue.... or did I miss it? I haven't read past #26, so has Spider made an appearance?

Nope, I imagine after W&H reset everything, she just decided to go and do her own thing. Plus, she wasn't exactly a fan favorite. I didn't have a problem with her personally, but boy some sure did.

Who knows she may come back in the on-going Spike series.

Oh that's cool then. If she never comes back that's fine with me. I was just wondering because the "break-up" seemed to be a scene of interest based on the #17 cover.

The panel on the #17 cover was really just playing up the People Magazine spoof.

IMO, she was killed by Non alongside the rest of Non's girls and her energy used to revive Gunn. At least, that was the idea I got after reading #23

Where did it suggest that Non drained the power of her girls?

Well, she said she drained the life of Spike's 'stupid' flock, so that flock could either be A) his human flock she killed the first time around, or B) her girls that worked with him after he killed her

Nah, you misread that. She says that she had her "temporary fate (death) coming" because she sucked the life out of Spike's flock. Not at all implying she found them *again* when LA was restored.
