I always liked to imagine she had fallen in love or had a crush on a girl in high school or college only to have her heart broken when she was straight. Maybe it's just me. I can picture that too. |

I would think that Willow Rosenberg was Tara's first girlfriend. Considering the fact that Tara was very shy when she first appeared in the series, you would think that she wouldn't have the courage to ask a girl out or something. Unless the other girl took the lead. Which has the potential to be a really hot fanfic... |

From the way she acts when we first meet her I figure she's always been aware that she's a lesbian, but always felt that people hate her for it and so never been intimate with anyone. I feel so sorry for her when we first see her, with her stutter and no-one wanting to listen to her.
