This is good, but I think she's rehashing what Angel already talked about in "Orpheus". Otherwise, great interview! Makes me giddy for more Angel soon.

I'm nodding along to almost everything Mariah has been saying. She's seems incredibly insightful about the characters.
HH - rehashing as in copying it and not verbalizing her own idea? Or rehashing as in its not a valid interpretation? Because I'm in love with the fact that Mariah gets that for Angel, redemption is something to be fought for always.

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the interview so far. We'll have a bit more coming in part two though it is nowhere near as massive as the first part. We will, in addition, be having interviews with Bill Williams and Bill Willingham coming before Angel #28 launches as well so keep an eye out for those.

I'm nodding along to almost everything Mariah has been saying. She's seems incredibly insightful about the characters. I was doing the same thing. It's clear she is a mega fan, which is what a good editor has to be when it comes to a series that is this important. It's nice that Ryall won't have do it all now as well, and I definitely think the series is in good hands from here. If only she had started earlier and worked on Aftermath... I'm really excited about the interviews with Willingham/Williams as well.

The former. But maybe it's good that she gets it. Maybe I've just read so much on Angel that I've exhausted the new territories of conversation possible. (Is that even possible?)

Great interview. Lovely to know that she is so into the world and the characters. Nothing will get past her:)
And also - how happy am I at that page with Angel. It actually looks like Angel (unlike Aftermath). Not as good as Mooney's - which was almost photorealistic towards the end - but still excellent work.
Next week cant come fast enough!

These interviews are so great. I was skeptical about Eddie's story but now I'm pretty amped about it. Love what Williams had to say about Gwen, hope she's done justice after that last travesty.

same here about Gwen. I wonder how they'll handle her whole obsessive Conner phase. Spell? lapse in judgement? lol

Interview with WillinghamI must say, fantastic interview. And a cover (? It doesn't look like Denham made it) I can't place very well. But it looks like Angel as Christ. Willingham sounds a lot different from the other writers, but his insights and ideas are very interesting. I love it.

Another great interview. Could I be any more excited about tomorrow? Willingham's insight is great, and I am thrilled he is paying so much attention to Connor.
With Willingham, Williams and Mariah all being huge fans of the series (plus Messina, who always delivers), I have very few doubts about this next team.
I don't know if it is a cover, as the image tag reads as "029010" which makes me think it is just a page from #29. It sure looks like a cover though (but we already have Jenny and Messina's covers for #29), and I love the angel imagery.
