I wish it was out Monday in the US as well. I have to wait until Tuesday to watch it. Luckily, Tuesdays are my free days so I'll be able to sit down and start reliving the awesomeness that is Season 2. <3

The bonus features are pretty good. Everyone's so candid. I especially loved the round table with Joss and the cast.
Jed and Maurissa have the best commentaries. Honestly, I want to be friends with them after listening to them! Give 'em a reality show, stat! Or a radio show/podcast...

I finally got a chance to begin watching my S2 Blu-ray last night and love it, love it, love it! Watched Vows and Instincts (a fave ep of mine). Haven't gotten to all the special goodies (besides the Vows commentary from Joss - interesting stuff) but can't wait to see them!
The only down side to watching S2 all over again is that is really makes me miss the show even more. Then I become bitter that it was canceled looooooong before its time. The show had such great potential, its a shame FOX was too stupid to realize that. It deserves to still be on!

Just recently learned Enver has an identical twin and he appeared in an episode! I'll have to watch closely when I reach that episode. Reminds me of Nick Brendon's brother playing the other Xander on Buffy.

Yes, I checked his credit on imdb. I must have assumed it was Enver with good editing when I watched it the first time since that episode was full of such crazy wickedness.

I feel like with the time slot it was placed in combined with FOX's interference in the first five episodes, the show was doomed to fail. It's target audience is not home at the time slot it was placed and most people say that the problem with the show was that Joss and company didn't find the footing until halfway through the season. What they don't realize is that's when FOX stepped away and Joss actually started to be able to do what he wanted.

The death slot played a big part. Episode quality didn't IMO. The ratings didn't really drop during the terrible early episodes which tells me that the numbers were the Joss-fanbase anyway. If the show was played in a timeslot where viewers would see it, the FOX meddling may have helped hook first time viewers.

Did anyone notice how the box lists "Epitaph Two: Return" as "Epitaph 2: The Return"? I haven't watched it yet, so I don't know if that's what it says on the menu.
And why is Eliza/Echo on every disc? Her picture is already displayed prominently on both sides of the outside of the box. They should've gone the Buffy route and used images of the rest of the cast on some the DVDs, minus the first.
Also, my copy of Epitaphs is bent in the corner and I'm pissed.
/nitpicking

Because like it or not, Eliza is the star of the show. I'm well aware of the fact that Eliza plays the main character, but the other actors and characters deserve recognition too. The art of the DVDs and the DVD box really should represent the season as a whole, in my opinion. Fox only putting pictures of Eliza looking sexy really shows how little they thought of the show. The menu says "Epitaph 2: Return", although I prefer "Epitaph 2: The Return" personally. But like it or not, the title of the episode is "Epitaph Two: Return". ...

Their immediate placing of the show at 9pm on a Friday combined with the tampering with the series for half of the initial season shows how little they thought of the show. The incredibly cheap packing of the Season 2 DVD further shows that among other things listed.

The art should represent the star of the show, not the supporting players.

There's a reason why Topher Brink and Adelle DeWitt are such great and popular characters... It's because of how they were acted. Sure, they were handed out outstanding scripts, but not every actor could have pulled those scenes off. The 'supporting players' deserve the spotlight just as much as Echo/Eliza. Let Eliza sex up the cover of the box set, and even one of the discs, but allow the other stars some credit too.

I agree. The whole cast should be recognized, like on the Season One DVD. But who cares? It's packaging, no big deal. The art shouldn't just represent the main star, because the supporting "players" are also the main stars.

The supporting players are merely people she interacts with on that journey. They aren't as important as Echo. Dollhouse is not an ensemble series. Eliza Dushku is its star.

Not really, no. Those other actors wouldn't have even been on this show had it not been for Eliza, her contract with Fox, and her history with Joss. The art should represent the star of the show, not the supporting players. The show was created specifically for Eliza, yeah, but that doesn't mean everyone else's effort should be ignored. They wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for her, but she wouldn't have one either if it weren't for them. She didn't do this alone. When Eliza Dushku creates, writes, directs, produces and stars in a show all by herself, I'll be fine with her appearing on the DVDs and the DVD case solo. Until then, the others deserve recognition. Disagree. This show wouldn't be half as amazing as it is now without the 'supporting players.' There's a reason why Topher Brink and Adelle DeWitt are such great and popular characters... The art shouldn't just represent the main star, because the supporting "players" are also the main stars. I care and it's sort of a big deal to me. There's very little Dollhouse over there, so I'm not going to apologize for obsessing over little bit that we have. Disagree. The show is about Echo's life and trying to create/discover her identity. The supporting players are merely people she interacts with on that journey. They aren't as important as Echo. Dollhouse is not an ensemble series. Eliza Dushku is its star. The show is primarily about Echo's life and trying to create/discover her identity. There were tons of other interesting characters and plots.

^^ Uh, you do realize you wouldn't have your precious supporting characters to care about if it weren't for Eliza/Echo, right?
