The DVR numbers for Vows were just released, and it's good to see that those are still strong.

A 1.5 demo rating on Friday night is really not that awful. It usually takes less than a 2 to win a timeslot.
Along with strong download numbers, I think they'll keep the show on for the moment. If the ratings don't start trending downward again, we might make it through all 13 episodes.
Don't be surprised if they take it off the air during sweeps month (November) if the Summer Glau episode on the 30th doesn't deliver a big ratings spike. I fully expect they might replace it with "House" reruns or something durings sweeps, then bring it back in December and January.

Vows - 2.57 million and a 1.0/4 adults 18-49 rating. Instinct - 2.1 million and a 0.8/3 adults 18-49 rating. Belle Chose - 2.25 million and a 1.0/3 adults 18-49 rating. Belonging - 2.1 million and a 0.8/3 adults 18-49 rating.Source. Ah, whatever. I barely care anymore. At least we still have 9 more episodes.

I agree. It's not even a thing anymore. If the show keeps this quality up for the rest of the season, like it has, and has a good capper I'll be totally fine.

The DVR numbers for week 2 are available.Dollhouse slipped down to 37.9% from around 50% during week 1. It still had the highest percentage DVR of any show in the week, but its total audience was only 2.83 million.

I have never been really good about ratings but I learn't about them during season one. And now I forget again

Digital Video Recording. Think TiVo - basically, when the show airs, a machine records the hour that the show is on for future viewing. DVR numbers in Nielsen ratings count the live airing of the episode, then a 7-day follow-up on the people who recorded the episode and watched it after the live airing.

Lets say I have Sky+ I cant watch Dollhouse so I record it on my Sky+ box. I then watch it a few days later. That means it counts towards DVR?

Nielsen ratings are a very complex thing, but I have a friend who is a Nielsen house and he explains things to me in very simple terms.

Bummer.

So in the long run, it beat the House repeat. Huh. Kind of pointless.

Im still interested so thanks for posting hitrun.
I am still yet to see those two episodes. I need to watch them later today and probably won't see the second one until tomorrow.
Those exact ratings seem to be poping up alot this year.

Yeah, 2.1 mil and 0.8 seems to be the constant for the show. At least there's a solid audience.
