I voted "liked it," mainly because of Amy Acker and because of the final 10 minutes.
If I was a curious new viewer who hadn't watched all of season 1, though, I wouldn't have made it through the first 20 minutes.

Great season premiere. loved Whiskey/Saunders in this episode, too bad she wont be around for the whole season. It was also great to see Alexis Denisof again. I was a bit confused over the scenes where Ballard was hitting Echo though. Was he trying to jolt her memory or something?

I am borderline Loved/Liked so I went with Liked. Fantastic start to the season though, Amy was so amazing.

Great season premiere. loved Whiskey/Saunders in this episode, too bad she wont be around for the whole season. It was also great to see Alexis Denisof again. I was a bit confused over the scenes where Ballard was hitting Echo though. Was he trying to jolt her memory or something? He was trying to make her "glitch" and switch personalities... he seems to be trying to steer her to a point where she can voluntarily switch into whatever personality she needs most at any given time. Which will be super-cool.
(Too much Eliza-hitting in this episode, though. I was glad she got to kick the asses of both of those happy-fisted BSG bastardos. ;D ) |

Liked it. Would've been "loved" if the wedding story was more entertaining. But it was a great start, story and character wise.

I loved it, I thought it was amazing. I had hopes, with all the solid reviews coming out for it, but I remembered that it was a season opener and those aren't really Joss's strongest episodes, but this easily takes the cake for the best one he has written(It's also good in itself too). A(-)

I looooooooooooved it! I really liked how they didn't focus completely on Echo's engagement and I loved the Topher/Dr Saunders scene  I can't wait to see episode 2!!!!!!!!!!! |

I think it was sure worth the wait.
Loved the episode, it seemed more solid than any season one episode. The acting was also alot better than earlier.

I LOVED IT! I got to dash so I'll add more of what I thought later but just the Whiskey/Topher story alone was COMPLETELY mind blowing and sad!  I have to say that I really, REALLY like Aware Echo (or Omega? I dunno...) so much better than I ever liked Caroline. Personally, I'm not looking foreword to Echo realizing her past self because what she is now is so much better. |

This may have just been me but when Dr. Saunders was talking to Topher in his bedroom did anyone else get subtle impressions of Illyria and Fred throughout that speech? It was certain phrases (I don't remember off hand) and how Amy said them that instantly made me think, "hey that's so something Illyria or Fred would have said and how they would have said it."

Thought it was a great episode! A little confusing but I loved it! And I got all excited when I saw Alexis! Loved all the Claire/Whiskey scenes, too.
