I´d love to see a realistic take on Poison Ivy, but as a cameo-villain and not the main one. She could be this psychotic eco-terrorist that uses poison blades and lips. As the main villain I´d like to see Harley Quinn as a copycat Joker, Talia al Ghul or Hush I'm still dreaming for Harley Quinn as well. ;D

"This character winds up having an affair with Gordon, and it's implied that Essen might be shown to be the real mother of Batgirl. Odd, as we thought Nolan already addressed the Batgirl story, in Batman Begins, perhaps not."
Anyone know what they are referring to in Batman Begins?

Gordon was shown to have a son and a daughter in BB. It's hardly what I'd call addressing Batgirl, but it's the only thing I can think of.

I don't like the idea of Rachel Weisz, Anne Hathaway or Kiera Knightly being in Batman... Natalie Portman might be able to pull it off.

Hmm, I would choose....none of them. They just have the looks. Dunno about them being in a gritty film series like this. They'd stick out too much. You'd want someone who looks like they fit in

Anne Hathaway can do gritty. She even got an Oscar nod for her extremely gritty (hell, you could see the stubble in her armpits) role in Rachel Getting Married. Even her role in Brokeback Mountain was less than glamorous. Kiera Knightley is generally known for her romantic period pieces, but it's evident in those pieces that she's not just a pretty face. Also, there was Domino, where she played a bounty hunter. And hey, Natalie Portman was in V for Vendetta. And is also a great actress in her own right. Rachel Weisz may be best known for her role in the Mummy franchise, but she's also an Oscan winner in her own right. I guess my point is, all four actresses can actually act when given a good script (you hear that, George Lucas?!). Being pretty is hardly a hindrance... no one ever accused Michelle Pfeiffer for being a dog (see what I just did there?).

After what Heath Ledger was able to do in TDK, I'm not going to immediately dismiss any actors based on previous roles. Any of the above actresses would probably make me happy (I have no issues with any of them, acting-wise).
I've no idea what that line about Batgirl means... she was never mentioned in Batman Begins. But yeah, Gordon having a daughter may apply, I suppose.
[/spoiler] This would make me happy. I don't have much exposure to Strange in the DC verse as of yet (I've really only seen him in the newer comics and as a character in audiodramas), but he seems like a very interesting character. :3
Also? I've no idea the likelihood of this (it's probably very very very slim...), but...
Moar Scarecrow plox.

Dr. Hugo Strange....who was he again? I could go and play Arkham Asylum to find out, but don't really feel like it. And Dr. Strange huh? Who was first, DC or Marvel?

He's a mad-scientist-type character. I'm not sure how to describe him other than that. Wiki's helpful for that stuff, tho: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_StrangeAnd DC was first, in the '40s. Marvel's was created in the '60s. The characters aren't really similar though, which is nice. Makes it less confusing.
