For all you bookworms out there, what are you favourite novels? (I searched for this thread and didn't find it, but if I've accidentally created a duplicate thread I'm sure a Mod can lock it). Mine are:
The Power of One, I read it at least once a year, my all-time favourite novel
Little Women, currently re-reading, can't get enough of the March sisters
The Virgin Suicides, I love the way its' written, very unique take
The Pact, haunting storyline, unique narrative and fascinating characters
Web of Dreams, this is the fifth book in a VC Andrews series, love it even though it is a little soap-opera-ish
If Only, this is Geri Halliwell's autobiography. I was (still am actually) a huge Spice Girls fan and this book is so honest and refreshing
Ophelia Speaks, every teenage girl should read this book. It's a bunch of essays/poems/stories written by teenage girls

Oh, Animorphs! I loved Animorphs. My brother still owns about thirty of them and every so often I steal one and revert back to high school.
I forgot to mention that I have a real soft-spot for the Sweet Valley High series. Very sad, I know, but they're a throw-back to my childhood. Love them.

The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver (the Bean Trees was also very good)
The Four Quartets by T.S. Eliot (In general I don't like poetry, but I just finished this and it was amazing.)
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (It was about the circus. And it was awesome.)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey
Poison Study Maria Snyder (That was the best, but all the following books were great too.)
Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray (Once again, my favorite of the series, though the whole thing was great.)
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote (A little creepy at times, but awesome)
Also, my favorite authors who are either a given, a guilty pleasure, or have too many books to pick from (or all of the above): Janet Evanovich, Patricia Briggs, Tamora Pierce (favorite childhood author), Charlaine Harris, and JK Rowling

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (It was about the circus. And it was awesome.) I don't know if you knew or not but they are making a movie version of Water For Elephants. It's going to star Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson.

The Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris- the inspiration for True Blood
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald- a classic, Gatsby really reminds me a bit of Spike in Buffy seasons 5 and 6 with his obsession
Looking For JJ by Anne Cassidy- quite dark really, about a teenager who committed a murder when she was a child but very well written
Before I Die by Jenny Downham- absolutely heart-breaking but worth a read because of its unique and realistic take on life and death. It's a story from a teenage cancer patient's perspective. And ok yes I cried at it. A lot.
