Night 3 will last from 1:15pm Sunday until 1:15pm Tuesday.
This is a new game. There may be a few quirks this time around, so please be patient and understanding.
Let me know if there is anything you see that may be off kilter. I have looked at it too many times and may be missing something, possibly obvious! hehe
Wanted to give the baddies more of an edge. If it is too much, we will fix next game, so just have some fun with it!! Here we go!

Perfect Participation (+50 Karma):
There are 2 slayers (Buffy, Faith). These are the only 2 that can stop The First. During game play, the Slayers will vote with everyone on Day Rounds. During the Night Rounds, the Slayers are hunting for The First. They may attack one player a night, via PM to spikeluv13. If the Slayer finds a Bringer, the Bringer is slayed. If it is a Scoobie or Potential, the attack is void and the reply 'this player may not be killed at this time' will be sent. If it is The First and BOTH slayers vote for The First, then it is game over, goodies win! If just one slayer attacks The First while the other slayer is alive, there will be a roll of dice. If it is an even number, Slayer wins and gets to stay alive (the other Slayer heard your cries for back-up and helped you escape). If odd, The First wins and the Slayer is killed instead (Faith ignored you! Biatch!). If the Slayer wins, the reply will be the same as if it were Potential or Scoobie-this player cannot be killed at this time. If there is only 1 Slayer left, and that Slayer attacks The First, there is a dice battle. Best of 3 wins. If Spike has found the amulet, though, any battle is bypassed and the Slayer has an automatic win!
Slayers can die in the following ways: killed by the Day Round mob vote and unanimous/complete Bringer vote.
There is one First Evil (think The First lol). Once per Day Round, The First has the power to kill Potentials/Scoobies. This is done through PM to spikeluv13. I know it is slightly different than cannon, but needed to make game-friendly. Every Day Round, The First will PM spikeluv13 with the name of the Potential to kill. If it is a Bringer or Slayer, the reply will read 'player is unable to be killed at this time.' If it is a Potential or Scoobie, that player will be killed immediately and their vote will not count for that day round. During the Night Round, The First hangs out and watches, battling Slayers as necessary.
Can only be killed by both Slayers together, Slayer wins battle of 3, Slayer has amulet when attacking.
The Harbingers of Death:
Bringers vote during the Day Round to blend in with the crowd. Ignore the mutilations, please.
Bringers choose nightly via PM to spikeluv13, the victim of the evening. This is done with a vote. If they choose a Scoobie or Potential, they are killed. If they choose a Slayer, that Slayer’s identity is revealed to all the Bringers. If the vote is unanimous and no votes are missing, the Slayer is killed (overpowered by numbers). If they choose The First, they have finally found where their god is and The First's identity is revealed. If they choose a fellow Bringer, the identity is revealed to all Bringers. Bringers may be killed by mob vote and Slayer attack.
Scoobies/everyone votes during the Day Round to kill off one player.
Scoobies also have the ability to research. Scoobies also vote (via PM to spikeluv) on which player they would like to research. This is done during the NIGHT round, so you will be better informed the next day round. Once I have all the votes, I will reveal the identity to those of you that are Scoobies. I will do this via PM to each of you. Only one identity revealed each NIGHT round, based on majority vote.
Scoobies can be killed by mob vote, Bringers, The First, The First lashing out at mob vote.
One player will be considered a Scoobie for gameplay, but has a special ability. In addition to voting for someone to research at night, Spike must also vote for who they think has the amulet. If the amulet is found before Spike is killed, the Slayer attacking The First will bypass the dice roll. Automatic kill. This is very important. One player will unknowingly have the amulet (aka I am picking a random player and you must guess correctly to get the amulet). If the player holding the amulet is killed, the good guys loose out on that advantage. Amulet will be considered broken.
All other aspects of game-play is that of a Scoobie
Think villagers from past challenges. You are sadly, pretty much cannon fodder. Sorry, Potentials. You vote during the day with everyone else. Hide at night.
Potentials can die via mob vote, Bringers, The First.
Lasts 72 hours
The First strikes
*If the player is a Scoobie/Potential/Slayer, one less player for the good guys.
*If the player is the LAST Slayer, the game ends and baddies win!
*If the player turns out to be a Bringer, one less for the bad guys.
*If the player is The First, The First fights back. Instead of being vanquished, The First leashes out and kills 2 Scoobies in its place. However, the identity will be revealed and the Slayers may attack that night round.
Lasts 48 hours
*Slayers vote to attack The First.
*Harbingers vote to kill goodies/find The First.
*Scoobies vote to research.
*Spike votes to research and searches for amulet.
**No one knows the identity of the others. This helps with the mystery. Once you know identities of the others, alliances can start forming.
**Any questions please ask...nicely.

**YOU HAVE TO PLAY IF YOU SIGN UP! if you have some sort of computer problem, etc. please just let me know asap. If you disappear for 2 consecutive rounds or 3 rounds total throughout the game and don't let me know why, you forfeit your life!
**Everyone that dies will have their status revealed.
**If there is a very close vote or a tie, Some killings may be multiple....as in 2 people will be killed. I roll a die and if it is 1 or 2, both die. 3 or 4, person A is killed. 5 or 6 person B is killed.
**EVERY vote counts.
**MY count is the final count. Hopefully our lists will be the same, but with votes coming in so closely (ie by 1 or 2) My count will be the final decision.
**I am in central time zone
**If The First is killed, all remaining good guys will win and receive Karma. The remaining baddies will get consolation points. Vice-versa if the Slayers all die.
**Any questions feel free to help each other or PM me!
**If you don't miss a round during the game, even if you die, you get karma. I like that. Excused rounds (rounds where you tell me you will need to be away) will not count against you.
** If someone is cheating and you notify me, you will receive karma! (Privately via PM with proof-like a screenshot)
**When killed you may pop in to keep the gameplay going, say hi to friends, etc but no game info may be shared unless it is explaining rules, etc. NO CHEATING. You may come hang out, but only if it does NOT interfere or alter gameplay in ANY way. IF ANY GAME INFORMATION IS PASSED ON AFTER YOUR DEATH HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED (WHETHER IN GAME THREAD OR IN PM) YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM FUTURE GAMES. So make sure if you are going to share info, you do it before I announce who is dead. It could be you!
**From this point on, screenshots are forbidden in the game. If you wish to use them in your PMs, that is okay, BUT ONLY FROM OTHER PLAYERS, such as seers, etc. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD SCREENSHOTS OF PMS FROM SPIKELUV ABOUT ROLES< RESEARCH ETC BE USED. You may use screenshots if I have clarified rules or gameplay and you wish to help another player, but no PMs where research or roles have been given. You must trust each other-half the fun!!
