Here's a neat little game inspired by Benniboi or Bennyboi, sorry, i forget which one it is, where we can try to find as many differences (edits) from the comic books to the TPBs.

Cool!!! And it's bennyboi!!! Just wandering cuz i'm new to comics, does this usually occur when the TPB is released. A difference that i noticed was that when Giant Dawn stomps on Amy the writing that says Spppllushhh or something has changed slighgtly. Anyone else?

I don't do the whole forum thing much for most comics, but I seriously doubt this is normal. Buffy just has a really inattentive editor.

Willow's eye color has been corrected, as has her hair color during the flashback to "Villains."

Yeah, I don't see any mess ups either. I wonder what it is...? Anyway...I actually do not have this yet. I am not sure if I wanna get it at all. I flipped through one at Borders, and while it is nice and pretty and shiny and everything.... I feel like there will be a BIG TPB when Season 8 ends. And that is the one where we will see real quality and money-worthiness, etc. So I think I'm gonna wait. Or find 20 bucks on the street and then get one.

I really want to get the TPBs, but I don't want to spend $15 on each of them only to have a HUGE Season 8 volume, that is much better, come out at a later time. But what if that never happens?

The mistake is an extra word added in at the beginning of a sentence. And NOW I wish I had my copy with me! I think its during the bathroom/tub scene

HERE IT IS! www.darkhorse.com/profile/preview.php?theid=14-842&p=3Savidge says "Would that I could, but...". It should either be Wish that I could or Would if I could.

I thought that was just slang, I thought it was done on purpose.

That's what I thought too, slang. Just regular Buffy-speak.

I suspected something was wrong, but then I assumed it was slang.

Yeah, "would that I could" is a common enough saying so really don't think that it could be considered a mistake. It's not really slang so much as just another way to say "I would if I could".
I think it's cool that they are bothering to sort out the mistakes in time for the trades. No matter how good the editor, on a monthly basis mistakes do slip through the net and that can't always be helped. Many times these mistakes end up left in the trades too though, which I think is less acceptable. At least here the effort is being made to remove them.
