I don't think he was ever truly bad, he just feels strongly for his friends and was very loyal to Warren. I think out of the trio Warren was the only really evil one there. Andrew then went along with killing Jonathon because he was just so happy to see Warren again. Then without either Jonathon or Warren he clung onto the closest things he had to friends (which turn out to be his enemies) because really he's just a lost little puppy who needs protecting... And yeah when I'm describing him here I'm coming to totally understanding how people don't like him lol, he is rather pathetic, but I like that. Yeah, that's how I would describe him too. It really bothers me that he did all those things to fit in/being loyal, and now he's in a new gang. I doubt he's the kind of guy who would stand up to his "friends" if they started doing bad things. But, I guess him going behind Buffy's back in issue 23 might be a good thing, if you think about it, and shows he's not just a follower anymore. If he had been one of the scoobies just to fit in, he wouldn't have created the spider-thing(to do good), he would have made sure not to piss the others off. I guess he has changed.
