It's from this cover, just close up: I think it was possibly taken from the colourists website, tinkered with slightly and then used here. Just a guess. See: charliekirchoff.com/

The IDW Dec solicits included a larger version of the Diamond Retailer/Comic-Con Vellum Exclusive, as the left over copies are going on general sale now for $10. It's got a little folded corner/peel thing in the bottom corner, I assume this is to illustrate an effect of the cover, but none the less, it's a bigger image...

That corner crease thing is gonna kill me lol. Every time I opened the gallery, my eyes would go right to it. I'll see if I can do some editing this weekend and post that.

Well, I tried. Not an exact replica, but better than the wee little pic I had before lol.

If anyone knows how rare the covers are (first print, second print, 1:10, 1:20, only 1000 printed, etcetc) and can make a thread about it?
And about the cover you just talked about, why does one have a fold/crease thing, and the other not? Are they two different covers?

Here's the rarity thread: www.slayalive.com/index.cgi?board=spike&action=display&thread=3980As far as the crease, no they're not two different covers. The comic is sold with a vellum sheet over the virgin cover which is what alters the coloring. They have the crease image to show the difference the vellum sheet makes. I edited that image to show the full vellum sheet over the cover.
